*** came to me saying he had no money and hoped I had work for him.I paid him in advance for lots of work and he did not finish the work even after repeated attempts to have him finish he would not show up and not callI had to finished what I could and now I will have to hire someone else and pay more money to get the job finished

This company is terrible They are quick to collect money, quick to uncharge you, quick to try and sell you the same thing twice and they are very slow to work They do terrible work The end product looks terrible They should not be allowed to be in business

same storyI paid in advance for tree service and he and wife did partial job and saifd they will be back well check for balance of work that they were contracted--$of $ of total job to do was cashed month ago and they never came back to finish They won't answer phone calls I am seriuosly contemplating filing a claim in Small Claims Court

This business was hired to cut my neighbors trees while they were cutting the trees they stole two letters on my property my neighbor asked them to return the ladders and they have not complied we filed a police report

Two days ago (01/19/15) I was solicited by Scott's Tree Munchers about a maple tree in the front yard He was just going to trim it, then he said it was dead I did not like the tree anyway so we negotiated a price to remove the tree and grind the stump He contacted someone about grinding the stump and came back and told me they did not want to do it He said he would just rent a stump grinder and do it himself When finished falling the tree, I told ***'s wife that I would withhold the $for the stump and pay just the $until the stump was out She asked me if I could give them the whole amount as they did not have any money to rent the grinder and she went on to tell me they had five kids, etc I felt sorry for her and gave them the full amount They did not come back, but I did receive a call from *** that he would be back in the morning (01/20/15) before noon And of course they never showed up, did not answer my calls and now I'm out $ That's what I get for being a nice person and feeling sorry for them It will never happen again

I called and Tree Munchers for an estimate to remove a 40' nuisance tree from my neighbors yard***, the owner operator, quickly talked me out of what I wanted and convinced me to trim a tree overhanging my houseHe also stressed to me how important it was to seal a hole in a "water oak" as the open hole would be a way for the tree to soak in the water and rot from the insideHe said if I neglected the trees in any way, my homeowners insurance would not cover any damage done to my roof because I did not take care of it Added it to the contract we had written up before the work commencedAny way, after he trimmed up the tree he said he did not have the correct stuff he needed to seal of the hole in the water oakHe promised to come back in the morningHe did not returnAfter or days I called to remind himAgain, I was assured that he was on it and it would get doneHe came back and trimmed my neighbors tree and while there, I asked againThis time he became very disrespectful and said it was not a big deal and I shouldn't worry aboutI was surprised that days earlier he said I absolutely had to get it done for insurance reasons, and now he said the exact oppositeSo, I said if you don't want to do it, just give me back whatever he was charging me for that service so I could have another tree company do itHe lost his temper and said very sarcastically " what, dollars"?
Any way it has been or weeks now and they won't pick up when I call and will not return my calls It.seems he sold me the job he wanted to do did not complete what we contracted for

Rather than waste my time creating this review, just read the other reviewsSame thing happened to meWish I had read this site prior to wasting my $Sad story about the five kids, needs work, stands behind his "craft", licensed and insured.......only sure thing is he will NOT come back to correct or finish job nor answer any calls!
