Business stated that the reason the consumer was charged a different rate was because when he reserved over the phone with Orbitz, and we ran his card, his credit card was declined and we could no longer hold that price for him When consumer came in person and booked another room, we told him
this and the new price and he accepted it We can send you the paperwork from credit card company declining the charge. I attached a credit card decline receipt and also you can see on the orbitz restoration guest must call at hotel to confirm a reservation if guest checking after 8:00p.mOnce credit card decline then price and restoration both not good anymore

This was in regard to my complaint ID #*** where they failed to provide electricity or water due to a power outage on 9/19/16. I now consider this issue completely resolved. Company called stated that the issue is resolved.

Revdex.com spoke with the business today and he stated the following:The policy of the business is there are no visitors allowed in the rooms unless an additional fee is paid.  There is a notice at the front desk of this.  I advised the consumer that if his visitor was told to leave and gone...

within 5 minutes, we would allow him to stay.  The visitor refused to leave and the police did come and the customer was advised if he pays an additional $50.00 the visitor can stay, and the customer did not pay the $50.00, so the visitor was told to leave as well as the guest because he was advised if the police were to be called, they would both be asked to leave with no refund given which is also posted in the office.
