Review: I purchased a used refrigerator from Scott's appliance on 4/25/14 for $840. The refrigerator started exhibiting problems from the start. Scott send a technician to fix the issues and agreed to extend the warranty to two years and to take the refrigerator back and refund my money if he could not solve the problem.The first technician that Scott sent, made several changes to the refrigerator in the course of several visits, but, was not able to fix the refrigerator. Consequently Scott send a second "expert" technician to fix the problem and, again, continued to promise to refund my money if he could not fix the fridge. The second technician blamed some of the problems on the first technician and that he was not qualified to work on the fridge. After a few tries, the new technician took the fridge to his warehouse to fix within a week. He had the fridge for almost 2 1/2 months and finally delivered the fridge in Nov 2014.The fridge seemed to work OK for a few months until it started running very warm again. Scott sent his expert technician again. After further examination, the technician said that the fridge is not repairable and I needed to get my money back from Scott. I tried to contact Scott several times to get my money back and told him that I will need to buy a new Fridge, he continued to ignore my messages. We finally bought a new fridge and continued to try to get my money back from Scott. Scott continued to ignore to address the issue.I finally went by his work place and talked to him in person in early April. I even agreed to a lesser refund of $600, if he takes care of the issue immediately. He said he had no money now and asked till end of April and signed a piece of paper for it($600 refund, April end). At the end of April, again, there was no sign of Scott. He finally asked for another extension to mid June. After mid June passed also, no sign of Scott and no response to my messages.Scott continues to give me the run around and dishonor the agreement we had.Desired Settlement: I would like Scott to honor our agreement, refund my money, and pick up the fridge (currently in my garage) immediately.
