I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

$750 paid as a deposit for a much larger job in terms of scope. The soffitt was never completed and I had to have the soffit completed rebuilt from the partial work done by Family Painting and Electric. There are many untruths stated in the business' initial response. They had verbally agreed to a refund but never did follow through on their commitment. In short, I am thoroughly disgusted with feeble mistruths and failed performance. Do the right thing and refund my money.

Per [redacted]: Started the job, it was an outside job, during the period of lots of rain, soffit was done and only paid the $750, customer never paid for labor, business was on another job when the weather cleared  up and customer decided they wanted the business...

to come to their house on that day and the business explained there was a slight disagreement. The business came over the next day and finished up the soffit and finished putting the siding on the home and the customer and business decided mutually to go their separate ways at that point.
