responded quickly and apologized for the misunderstanding and offered to exchange his itemHe thanked me for the response but refused and said he would complain about ittold him I would be glad to exchange the item if he desired as long as it was in original packagingWe make refunds and exchanges on a regular basisI tried to explain that a return months after the purchase was a little out of our proceduresI was not at the store at this specific time and could not be of assistance unfortunatelyI have since talked with our staff about "out of the ordinary" and "unusual" returns and how to better handle them
