Scott's Remodeling came to us from a recommendation through our Home Warranty Service. Scott was prompt for each appointment. He came out to our house several times, on his dime, to answer questions and ease concerns about three different projects we had completed from November 2018 until Jan 2019. Scott's worked to keep costs minimal and efficient while providing quality workmanship. Scott's worked on our roof, internal water damage ceiling and walls, and window sill water damage. Made down payment of $6,500.00 for a $12,999.00 vinyl siding job.
No contract was provided by contractor.
Job was originally scheduled to start Aug. 31, 2017. It was re-scheduled to start four times and as of Nov. 11, 2017, work has not started.
Contractor refuses to return my down payment, claiming it was used to purchase materials - no progress payments were scheduled.

I contracted with Scotts Remodeling March 2017 to repair damage from a wind storm on my house, to date only part of the work has been completed and I have not been able to confirm a solid date range the remaining work will be completed and am having trouble getting the company to respond to my requests for updates, they just keep giving me the run around with empty promises when they do respond. The remaining work includes the roofing repair, window flashing repair, and the replacement of the outside corner of siding on the front of the house by the driveway.
