DEALING WITH [redacted] & [redacted] AT SCOTTSDALE BULLION AND COIN,LLC WAS A POSITIVE AND FACT FINDING EVENT. BOTH TREATED ME AS I FELT WAS PROFESSIONAL. I CAME AWAY KNOWING MY MONEY WAS SPENT WITH MY BEST INTEREST IN MIND. I WOULD TELL FRIEND ABOUT SBC. [redacted] TULSA OK.

Review: I was seeking information into the precious metals investment market and was relying on their advertising as having a high reputation and no written complaints against them. When I began discussions with them, I was interested in purchasing gold. They began pushing silver very heavily and spent most of the presentation trying to convince me all my investment shoul be in silver. I tried to explain my desire for diversification but they stated numerous times the silver price was going to go up and my investment needed to be in silver. I found out later that it appeared they were trying to dump a bunch of [redacted] which had gone out of favor in the market. They then sold them to me at almost twice the gong market rate ($90 vs about $55). I admit it was my ignorance in believing they were looking out for my best interest, but am filing a complaint so future investors understand Scottsdale Bullion and Coin employees are not interested in their customers goals and are only interested in making a profit to advance their own personal goals.Desired Settlement: Admission that the profit made on the transaction was excessive and return the portion of the money for the purchase of the silver which was excessive profit.

My Wife and I did business with [redacted], our first investment encounter. What an eye opener! We had questions and we got answers, everyone factual and explained in a manner which was in beginner-eze language. We had an awesome experience and education on coinage and investments. [redacted] took his time to insure we understood exactly what we were doing, the short term and long term investment advantages. We called multiple times with questions and got a quick and timely response. These People at SBC are the only ones we plan on doing business with. Thank You for the great customer service.

I have been investing in gold for several years. I was referred to SBC and Mr. [redacted] from a friend who had recently made a sizable investment. I was very happy with the product, price, professionalism and the education I received while dealing with SBC. Mr. [redacted] was extremely helpful and informative and I never felt pressure to purchase...it was whatever I was comfortable with. I would definitely recommend [redacted] and Scottsdale Bullion and Coin and I will be doing business with them again.

Review: We meet with an SBC Salesman and through high pressure sales tactics persuaded us to purchase some gold coins with a Mint State of 63 which he told us they had in stock at another facility but we were unable to view the coins at the time of purchase. The Salesman for SBC failed to disclose the fact that if I was unhappy with the merchandise (gold coins) that was being purchased sight unseen, that if I did not like the quality or any aspect of the merchandise No Refund would be provided. The contract states a Buy Back Policy in which the buyer may sell the merchandise back to the seller, however we are not accepting the merchandise to begin with, so we are asking for a full refund, minus any minimal restocking fees they may have. We ordered and paid for 2 1894 and 2 1895 Gold Double Eagle Coins for a total of $9160.00. We picked up the coins on the afternoon of Wednesday October 22, 2014 around 3:30 went home and thoroughly inspected them. After reviewing the coins, we decided we were not happy with their quality, sent an immediate email informing them of our dissatisfaction and returned them first thing on Thursday morning October 23, 2014, however SBC would not accept their return. Instead they are offering to buy back the product for $7400.00., resulting in a $1700 Loss to us. We feel SBC needs to more upfront with their customers regarding purchasing coins sight unseen and no refund is provided if you don't happen to like what you received.Desired Settlement: We would like for SBC to stand behind their coins, accept their return and issue a refund; we don't mind paying for a restock fee. Furthermore, it is requested that SBC update their sales contract to explicitly state that No Refunds on any purchased merchandise so that the consumer can be properly protected.

This is the first time that I have done business with a company that was from a distance,and I have to say that this company is (The very Best in the U.S.).I wish I had known about this company 2 years ago. There is a man named " Mr.[redacted] ", he is very very positive and Educational,Particularly,Professional and Sincerely towards his clients. I would not have any questions or concerns regarding " Recommendations"of this Good man to my closest friends and fellow [redacted] troops.

Review: An Advertisement term the seller will not honor: I was told multiple times that I would receive my product within a few days. It has now been over 3 weeks.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund with compensation for the costs of missed opportunity in investment. Ex. current rate of the product is @ 16.50 , I purchased the product @ 15.65 , therefore the full of my refund would be multiplied by 1.055.

I am recent client of Scottsdale Bullion and Coin. [redacted] has been my managing broker and has provided me with outstanding service. I am a small investor new to the precious metal market. When I first called SBC and talked to [redacted], I was impressed by his professionalism. Even if I purchase a small amount of items, or a large amount, I was assured I that would be treated with the same respect. This is entirely true. When I send an email, I am answered promptly. When I call, he will answer or return my call promptly. I have done my reasearch into other precious metal companies, and as a result of the service I have received from [redacted], I will only deal with Scottsdale Bullion and Coin for all my precious metal purchases.
