Scott S [redacted] , the owner of this company, came to my home and gave me an estimate for landscaping work I was told to review the estimate, sign my approval and return the estimate to his office He gave me the estimate April 14, and I returned it promptly I have called repeatedly and he has never returned my calls nor has anyone ever came to do the work It is now June 40, This has been a most unsatisfactory experience and I would not recommend anyone try to work with this company

Had dirt delivered today IN THE WRONG SPOT. I was home, doors wide open, with a dog inside and never heard them arrive. They just dumped it and left without asking where to put it! I am an older lady without so much as a wheelbarrow and I have to move it 50 feet. What a disaster. I should have stayed with the guy that worked in the past and was cheaper.

Tuesday May 5th "Scotty" came out to my house in Elkhart Lake to give an estimate to do sodding along the South side of my driveway (which has washed out) You said it would be "about a month." Since this was a "small job" & since I had/have erosion going on I asked if it were possible to get here any sooner. He was unsure but would let me know. I never heard back. Last Friday JUNE 26TH I called THE [redacted] - talked to a woman who handles his calls & inquired about the status/scheduling of my job. A week later & I have STILL heard nothing. Quite frustrating to be left in limbo. The common courtesy of letting a customer know the status of the service they requested from your company would be appreciated AND the good "business sense" thing to do.
I guess that when you own your own business, you can choose to ignore any customer at your choosing!

Would not do honor an expired gift card. I was there to try and use it the last two years and the quality of their plants were substandard. I called this year to see if they would honor it or even give me a partial credit on some limestone. The answer was no. Unfortunately this small business does not care about their local customers and I will be spreading my negative experience via word of mouth. I will go to Menard's and pay extra to buy my limestone instead of deal with Scotty's.

If you want to wait the whole summer to get your project done, this is the place to go. Told us it would be done the end of May, 2014 and it was not complete till the end of
September, 2014. Not only was it not done in time, the grading is very bad, and the yard is like a washboard. Most of the yard is weed. ** blames the problems on the wet summer we had, but every time I called he was at another job site. Just couldn't get to ours. Poor work. Never calls back. Doesn't show up when he said he would. Guarantees work, but can't get him to show up. Now I will not let him on my property. Will get someone else to fix the problems and talk to my lawyer. not impressed.
