Telemarketer called in violation of No-Call List law. Opened the phone call, acting like he was someone who knew me. Then he alleged that his job was to monitor [redacted] Network and [redacted]. Asked which I had. When I told him I didn't have cable/satellite, he went into a sales pitch.
His whole approach and demeanor smacked of phishing. Many complaints about this telemarketer--or whatever he was--on the Internet. I reported the company to the ** Attorney General.

Received a call from [redacted] from Scotty's Satellite Service trying to sell me service. I was intrigued because I am on the Do Not Call list. After asking him how he got my number and saying I am on the Do Not Call list, he became rude. I told him I was going to file a complaint and he told me that he was not "trying to sell me anything, but trying to save me money".
Unbelievable!
We at Scottys are very sorry when any customer is unhappy. In this case we have installed service for this customer and it is currently working properly.

Scotty's satellite has called my home three times in the last five days. My number is on the do not call registry. During the second call I let them know that my number was on the registry and I asked them to not call again. Two days later I received a third call. Again I reminded them my number was on the registry and to place me on their do not call list.
