Screamin' Eagle Marine

I am rejecting this response because: Gray [redacted] at Screamin' Eagle Marine either doesn't remember being called by the delivery driver and coming out to the boat in person while the vessel was still on the trailer/cradleand within hours of arrival at Lake City or chooses to lie about not being notified immediately upon deliveryGray [redacted] at Screamin' Eagle Marine either does not remember our e-mail exchange where he agreed to repair the vessel within a week of the communication or chooses to lie about itI have copies of the e-mail exchangeGray [redacted] at Screamin' Eagle Marine either doesn't remember our phone conversation where he promises to do the repair in the fall or he chooses to lie about itGray [redacted] at Screamin' Eagle Marine either doesn't remember our phone conversation in the fall about not having time to repair the vessel or chooses to lie about itI have multiple photos of the vessel as it sits on the trailer behind the delivery vehicle with clear evidence that the straps caused the damage en route from Chicago to Lake CityGray [redacted] claims that the gel coat was damaged prior to delivery, but I have a marine survey that was completed prior to purchase from a highly credentialed marine surveyor that does not indicate damage to the gel coat nor any issues with age of the gel coatI contracted with Screamin' Eagle Marine to deliver the vessel, not a sub contractorThe actions of the sub contractor are Screamin' eagle's responsibility, not mine

Everything was communicated to the customer as far as pickup of the sailboat from ChicagoThe reasoning was first a break down of vehicle, and then that followed by flooding in Texas for a prior transportAll was communicated to Mr [redacted] , it was agreed upon by customer for transport dateThis transport was not completed by our company and was subed out to another transporterThe vehicle was well equipped to to tow a 24ft sailboatNote the sailboat is years old and the condition of the gelcoat is extremely poorDamage to the gelcoat we do not believe was incurred during transportCustomer stated he was going to have the boat detailed prior to us giving him a good dealWe believe that he is looking for a way to collect money out of this situation, it was not until a whole season of use later that damage was communicated after the boat was pulled out of the waterHe is seeking resolution a year later in in the spring when it is sitting out in the elements currentlyThe transport total was $1725, not $17,If he was not pleased with our work, he should have brought that up at paymentIf he is seeking a refund he should contact us for other companies information that completed the transport
