I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.I have already resolved the matter over the phone shortly after filing the complaint. I am still raising a concern that this business blindly sends out bills even when there is a balance of $0. At the very minimum this is wasting resources. I want to raise everyone's awareness that they should monitor every bill and co-pay from this business very carefully and maintain accurate records. I expect the business to maintain accurate records and bill accordingly instead of requiring the customers to maintain accurate records and then have to call the business to clear up mistakes that shouldn't have happened. This was not the first time that this has happened to me and I (unfortunately) doubt that this will be the last time.

We have reviewed [redacted]’s complaint and medical allegations through our Peer Review, Quality Improvement Department and do not agree with [redacted]’s assessment regarding the recommendations provided by our physician. The findings and recommendation for surgery...
were medically appropriate and within the standard of care for the condition and symptoms presented.
It is our doctor’s custom and practice not to perform the recommended surgery in the office setting, even if the patient requests it be done in the doctor’s office. Dr. [redacted] certainly has the right to seek the care and service of another doctor/surgeon who will abide by his personal request. Since he has prepared and will file his complaint in court we will no longer communicate with [redacted] and refer him to Medical Legal Affairs when he files.
