Ms. [redacted] did have us come to clean her home 3/27/15. She was unhappy with the quality of the cleaning the crew was doing. She told that crew to leave prior to them finishing. We sent a second crew out to redo anything she was unhappy with on...

Saturday 3/28/15. The owner also came to inspect the quality of the first cleaning. That crew of 2 stayed for 4 1/2 hours and recleaned the entire home. Her and her husband inspected the home and said they were happy with the cleaning but would like us to come back on Monday to clean the window tracks and some work in the basement which were not part of the initial estimate or the initial cleaning. They stated that they would pay for Saturday's cleaning with the additional services on Monday. Then, tipped the crew for their good work and had them leave. I called Mr. [redacted] on Monday 3/30/15 to let him know what time we would be out. He said he changed his mind on having us clean the window tracks and basement and would drop off payment. He asked how much he owed, I told him $270. He said he thought it was $240. I told him that the crew of 2 stayed for 4 1/2 hours which is equivalent to 9 hours of cleaning and that is $270. He told me that the owner said he could pay $240 because of the problems with the first crew. I told him that I would mark that discount down and he could drop off $240. When he didn't show, I called him several days later and left him a message. When I hadn't heard from him a few days later, the owner called him and he said he didn't want to pay anything now because of the problems with the first crew. It was explained that we are not charging for the first crew in any fashion. He is only paying for the crew that performed cleaning on the second visit and their hours only. He said he would pay what he thought and hung up. I attempted to obtain payment by calling and leaving a message again. I also mailed a bill 4/13/15 informing them that non payment by 4/27/15 would result in a report being made to collections. At no time did they contact us to make payment or discuss their dissatisfaction with the final results of the cleaning. We have rectified the cleaning they were unhappy with, we have been told verbally their intentions of payment on 3 occassions, we have not heard dissatisfaction with the final cleaning until now. The balance remains.

I have spoken to our bank and our processing bank.  It is on their end or the customer's bank's end that they had held any pending charges.  At no time were we credited anything more than $130 into our account.   We were only given one approval code and the owed $130. ...

If for some reason we had charged more than we were suppose to, a credit back to the customer would have been issued.  The bank fees were for "pending charges" the bank held in a pending state for longer than necessary.  We have no control over the bank's time or reason for holding pending charges.
