Tenant's deposit was not returned even after three attempts.He will not come to appointments in his office to evade us.

On 12/19/14 we retained the property management services of Dynamic Management Group to manage our property located at *** On 12/18/15 we signed an acknowledgement that the agreement was moved to SD Realty and Management Inc as part of their acquisition of Dynamic Managment Group. On 8/17/17 we provided the 30 day notice to terminate property management agreement which was confirmed by SD Realty and Management Inc via email same day. Since we never received the the security deposit post termination of the contract we contacted SD Realty via email on 2/22/18 with no response. We contacted them again on 3/6 and they thought it had been mailed out in 2017 but would investigate. On 3/7 they informed us they would issue another check. Upon multiple reminders Brian S (owner and President) informed on 3/20/18 that the deposit refund would be processed. This never happened. Upon multiple reminders (4/16, 5/1 and 5/3) I finally got another update from Mr. S on 5/3 saying that the deposit check would be sent via FedEx that same afternoon. I confirmed my mailing address via email within one hour. The tracking # was invalid. On 5/4 we ask if the tracking number is accurate as it's not trackable and Brian reply the same day saying he'll go to the FedEx store and verify. No update is provided. On 5/7 we enquire again and Brian says he will send a new tracking number by 10am. We never received a new tracking number. On 5/10 we email Brian saying that we have no choice but to file a complaint with Bureau of Real Estate of California (BRE) and Revdex.com. Brian respond the same day asking for time until end of 5/12 to send the check. We give him until 5/14 10AM. That day Mr. S deposited a check that bounced and we notify him 5/16 upon which he replied he’ll wire the money which he didn’t do despite multiple promises and reminders. Last three emails on 5/21, 5/22 and 6/1 were not acknowledged.
