Review: I want to start out by saying that I purchased a wagon from this company around June 14 2013. The company took my payment through PayPal on June 15 2013. They told me that my product would ship n 2-3 weeks. 3 weeks went by with no communication. I then reached out to the company on July 9th and received a response that the product would ship by the end of the next week ( this would have been July 19th). When we received no shipping confirmation or any additional communication at this point I reached out to the company again on June 22nd. We then received a form email saying that the product would ship in 4-7days. It has since been the 7 business days from this last communication and still no shipping confirmation and no product at my door. I am very disappointed with this purchase as this was supposed to be a birthday present for my son ( who has not received his birthday present from his parents). I purchased this product with time to spare to have the product before his birthday party. It has now been 4 going on 5 additional weeks to make and shop my product (double almost triple their promised time frame). I am not sure what else to do as I want the product but don't want to be waiting for something that is not coming. I am not sure that I will ever receive my wagon and am very disappointed with the lack of communication that is being provided by the company.Any assistance on your part would be greatly appreciated.Desired Settlement: I would like our product in a timely matter at this point. I would also appreciate some sort of customer discount on their part for our inconvenience and the fact that they ruined my sons birthday (for me and my husband as well as our son). This was an expensive purchase ($600) for a wagon and we expected them to follow through on a more timely manner. In my opinion them taking the shipping fee of $100 and giving that back to us as a credit would be a nice gesture on their part.

I received your letter today. Sorry I did not respond earlier...I thought is was an advertisement from the Revdex.com.

We have been in contact with our customer, [redacted]. We do admit that the fabrication of their dune-buggy style wagon took longer than expected. We were in the process of moving our warehouse and had unexpected delays. We also experienced an issue at powder-coating in which their wagon was damaged by a fork-lift. We had to bring the wagon back and re-panel the side with new sheet metal...another unexpected delay.

We did explain the delays via emails to the customer, but I do admit that we should have contacted them more often than we had. I never want to miss a special event such as a birthday. It just happens that we experienced a lot of set-backs beyond our control.

I did upgrade the powder-coating color to a more vibrant, custom color for free (additional cost of $40 in powder-coating for us). This was a small token of appreciation for their patience.

Their wagon was delivered by FedEx 8/10/13.

Attached is a picture of a custom wagon similar to Kristen's. As you can see, a lot of fabrication and welding is gone into building one of these wagons. We do not necessarily want to rush and ruin the craftsmanship of the wagon body.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I just got around to reviewing this message as we have been very busy with a toddler. I want to start by saying that yes we received our wagon (roughly 5 weeks longer than expected) and the wagon came unusable with mis matched parts, wrong parts and broken parts. I reached out to the company and they sent us new parts (which still don't allow us to use the wagon).

I want to rebuttal their claim that they let us know about the delays. We received no emails regarding any delays and the only emails that were received were short and in response to inquiries that I had initiated. We received NO proactive communication from the business.

Th " upgraded" paint job was paid for by us on the front end. We chose the color and were aware of the added cost, and I am extremely upset that they would claim that to be a freebie since we paid for that and I can show that in my invoice.

At this point we still cannot use the wagon and are in the process of trying to get this resolved.

I am very upset with the way everything was handled with this company especially with all of the lies that we're conveyed to you. They basically pinned me to be a liar when in reality they very greatly stretched the truth.

Please let me know if there is more that I need to do.
