Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] called and ask me te have a 1999 Volkswagen Jetta and a Dodge Durango towed to my shop and estimate repairs that needed to be made. Both vehicles were not drívable and the Volkswagen was wrecked. The Volkswagen didn't even have a front bumper on it. The Durango had a transmission issue and was towed to a transmission shop at the request because I do not fix transmissions. I only replace them at the customers request. We examined the wrecked Volkswagen it needed numerous repairs. It would not run and had been in a wreck and also leaking coolant. The car was in terrible shape inside of the vehicle and outside of the vehicle, Please ask for pictures of the present condition of the vehicle in the state that it is in now.
I had told Mr. [redacted] the car needed a lot ef repairs and he would probably be better off getting those parts used from a junk yard. From a professional opinion the car wasn't worth putting any money into because the overall conditíon was so bad. It was wrecked it had 180,000 miles. In a nice way of saying that I don't really want to work on your car. I told them that I was really busy and wasn’t sure when I would have time to repair the vehicle. I never was upset with Mrs. [redacted], I didn’t want to work on their vehîcle and this is a true fact. I am very busy working on other cars that I know I'll get paid to repair and not have the headaches this car would have caused and is causing me today. I told Mrs.
[redacted] I would gladly tow her vehicle back to her house.
We towed the vehicle back to her house and later got a phone call from her saying the vehicle was at [redacted] and demanded that I pay her $500.00 for a radiator for her car. I told Mrs. [redacted] that we didnt damage her radiator and that it must have happened in the accident she had, Mrs. [redacted] then called [redacted] Police Department out here and I told the officer that we didn't damage the car and that she wanted $600.00 for a radiator and I then showed him online where a radiator only costs $89.00 at [redacted], l also told him that I wasn't falling for her scam and that I had refused to work on the car. He then said that this is a civil matter and not a criminal matter and that he couldn't do anything about it and left.
Enclosed ls where a radiator only costs 89.00 at [redacted] they refuse to pay $600 for something that my company DIDN'T !!! I will gladly have my attorney represent me and sue her for his charges if necessary. This car was wrecked and wasn't in driving condition when I received it. Mrs. [redacted] is upset that I politely refused to work on her car. l urge you, [redacted] to look at this car and where it has been wrecked and how it doesn't have a front bumper and it's over all condition and I urge her to prove where my tow truck driver damaged that radiator. I don't owe money to fix this car and I refuse to do so without further evidence or proof. As I said before, I will gladly have my attorney represent this matter with you, [redacted] in small claims court I wlll not be bullied or scammed by the [redacted]!
