I don’t have a contractI was never given oneAnd they still keep pulling money out of my account which needs to be stopped and refunded

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. When I signed my “membership” I signed a small blank screen that was on a debit/credit deviceThe woman who signed me up didn’t mention anything about any cancellation feeThe woman I spoke to on the phone said she has been fired but it’s still my fault that I was not aware of these feesMy wife and I refuse to use this service because we were so poorly mistreated hereI should be asking for more reimbursement but I’m only asking for the month of December and to cancel both membershipsThis woman doesn’t want to work with us at all and was very rude on the phone.

Workout Anytime has continued to withdraw funds from my account on January 12th in the amount of $29 (which was never an agreed upon price for anything at their facility). They also withdrew funds on December 26th in the amount of $25 as well as $16.50 on January 2nd.

Yes, my complaint is in Easley, SC. I lived there in 2017.

My name is J[redacted] and I am the General Manager of the Easley Workout Anytime Gym. I spoke with G[redacted] on 1/5/18 regarding his complaint. I could see in the files that his wife joined with one of our staff (M[redacted]) and G[redacted] then join...

with another (R[redacted] Mc). G[redacted]'s wife was the member who called on 6/20/17. The notes indicated that she choose to freeze he and G[redacted]'s memberships and choose 6 months as the time frame. M[redacted] made notes in both members files at that time. The member (wife) was aware that at the end of the 6 months she choose that the membership would then be reactivated and therefore draft for that next months dues. The draft of dues was what prompted G[redacted] to call. He through they had cancelled. He then went on to tell me about issues he had with a staff person (R[redacted] Mc). She is no longer with us. G[redacted] and I spoke about R[redacted] and I explained she was no longer with us (was let go) and that had he brought that to my attention I would have addressed it immediately. (I am in the gym 6 days per week and easily accessible by phone as well.) I told G[redacted] that I could indeed cancel their memberships out and I could honor the December 2017 draft as their last one (since the policy is a 30 day notice, they normally should have paid for the January 18 draft). I also told him that I would waive one of the cancellation fees ($29 is the cancel fee). Our Memberships are month to month contracts that can be cancelled with a 30 day notice (paying one more month dues upon that notice) and a $29 cancel fee (policy was effective 11/1/2015 at the Easley club). This is explained to all members when they join as is in the contract agreement they sign. I made notes in both their accounts after speaking with G[redacted] and did set up both memberships to cancel per what I had explained to him in our conversation. He hung up on me after that. With what I waived for him and was able to get honored for their final months draft, I actually saved him $73. from what he would paid to cancel per the policy based on his actual date of notifying us on 1/5/18. I have attached a copy of his Membership contract agreement showing 30 day notice for cancellations and cancel fee details (on second page). Please let me know if you need anything else. Thank-you. J[redacted], General Manager 864.[redacted].[redacted]
