Review: After paying $300 for a wedding in which her husband slept in the background the entire service, she told me to come back to her for my name change on my license. When I called her to do this she stated she was busy, I politely asked if I could get it done at the DMV or somewhere else, she said the only other places could go was AAA which would charge me way more money. After paying her $15 for a signature of notary, I went to the drivers license service and they explained everything was free and I shouldn't have paid for that service. I also looked up maximum fees for PA notary and it's supposed to be $5. Of course she only takes cash for anything so there's no records. The wedding and pictures were a joke for what we paid and we feel ripped off especially after the notary fees. People should be warned.Desired Settlement: I want refunded for the notary fees

After 52 years of serving the public, there is bound to be some one who may be unhappy about something BUT surely not these folks. First of all, the couple chose our office setting, which is very small and the lowest rate of all the 7 settings we offer. The groom to be, mention during our conversation that he had served in the military, so they only wanted to reserve the date fee, 12 pictures, setting and ministers fee. I then gave them a 10 percent discount off the total as a courtesy ’military’, of which I later learned that they both had good jobs and were not currently serving in the armed service.

On our brochure we offer many different services and goodies for our couples which are all optional. There is no listed request from this couple or payment made on their wedding agreement form for a name change on drivers license and vehicle registration or vehicle titling. "IF" the bride called to have her name changed later after marriage and "IF" I was busy at that time, we always ask people to make an appointment so we can serve our customers on a one to one basis convenient in both, schedules. We do not ignore our couples requests. Next, I gave this couple and their guests a BIG FREE upgrade Gift to go into the beautiful All Faith Chapel to have their Wedding, which I thought would really make them happy. After the ceremony, 1 took numerous pictures of the couple and their friends. Some of the proofs which she didn’t want, I am enclosing for you to view. Can you see what the big JOKE is that she has described in her complaint ??? They were treated with Uoyal Respect and if any one was taken advantage of, it was Sea Jay’s.

THE ABOVE INFORMATION IS TRUE AND CORRECT AND TAKEN DIRECTLY FROM THE Wedding Agreement Form of which the couple signed and completed in our office.

In addition to ail the gifts and kindness I showed them, I also gave them part of our Legal document package for FREE, which was a lovely colored certificate of marriage from our office that they could frame and have in their home.

When you look at the enclosed pictures, that I took of their wedding, it is difficult to see unhappiness on their faces as not being satisfied with the service just rendered.

If the bride wanted her name changed (as an extra after marriage) then WHY when she and her son came back to our office (days later), to select the proofs (pictures) that she wanted, there was tots of time available then, BUT she did not mention anything about NAME Change or anything else that they wanted. She talked pleasantly, selected the photos she wanted and left.

Sure wish I knew what the real reason is for her anger!
