Review: I was provided the number for Sea\\Tow for a grounding that occurred October **, 2015. When Captain Ken arrived to the scene and was writing up the invoice was when I was notified about the $179.00 membership fee as being required. I explained that my insurance policy with Allstate covers the tow. Regardless, I was told I had to purchase the membership or I couldn't be towed. Upon submission to insurance, I was informed that I could not be reimbursed if I belonged to a towing club. In speaking again with Sea\\Tow I was informed the type of tow would not have been covered by the membership with Sea\\Tow anyway. I have written multiple times, phoned multiple times, with no response to e-mails and promised calls were never received. I was forced to purchase a membership for something I do not need and would not even cover my incident anyway. And now my insurance policy will not reimburse for what Sea\\Tow would never cover anyway because I was forced to pay $179.00 for a membership with a total cost of $899.00 for the tow. To top this off, Membership Number [redacted] has my name completely butchered as "[redacted]" This to me is all a scam.Desired Settlement: Either send a refund, or credit my credit card account $179.00 and cancel the membership.
