Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Proof of residency for all parties except child [redacted] *** attached Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: EVERYWHERE throughout the website, the EZ Pay Passes are advertised as a one year or 12-month pass The purchase agreement says I agree to a down payment and additional monthly payments One line BURIED in the midst of a Terms & Conditions section of the purchasing process to me is fraudulent business practices Sea World has every pass holder's email address and has no problem bombarding my email with promotions and advertisements It is a simple task to send a courtesy email to pass holders about this extension to their billing agreement And, if a customer calls in unaware of this shady business practice, it is not UNREASONABLE to issue a refund Sea World knows exactly what they are doing and it is POOR customer service to steal money from young families by continuing to bill them after the customer fulfilled their obligation to pay for the initial one year pass Sea World had MULTIPLE opportunities to present their questionable practice of continued billing in all of the following locations In fact, their Terms & Conditions verbiage completely contradicts how this pass is advertised throughout the rest of the site and purchasing process This is clearly a "bait and switch" scam Here are just a few of the locations where it would be "best practice" to notify the consumer of Sea World's intentions to continue drafting monies from pass holders BEYOND the one year commitment (all of these are outlined in the attachment): On the offer details link (on the purchase tickets page) On the 3rd step of the purchase process (Review Cart) On the Payment & Guest Information screen In the first "Terms and Conditions" section This business practice is an obvious candidate for a class action lawsuit against Sea World Corporation Regards, [redacted]

As stated in your contract: “After your initial number of month’s membership has been fulfilled, SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment will automatically renew your membership on a month-to-month basis on EZpayAfter your original commitment has been met, your monthly rate is subject to change at any time, and you are also able to cancel your membership by a phone request Do you understand and agree to these terms?” No refunds can be given on continued payments You processed the EZpay plan transaction online and clicked on the Terms and Agreement So, we cannot refund your months paid over commitment As a guest courtesy, if you like I can extend them thru 12/31/14, but I cannot refund the payments

I will reach out to guest and ask for proof of out of state address I will then submit a request for refund

Again, you agreed to the terms of the EZpay contract prior to making your down payment. It is binding contract that clearly states - it rolls over to a month to month bases after commitment has been met.

Our tickets are non-refundable and clearly stated on our website Our operating schedule is always on our website It allows you to purchase the tickets any day because you have a whole year to use them for the single day visit. As a guest courtesy, if guest are from out of state - we do make exceptions and refund the tickets However, her order states [redacted] , Texas address

I am rejecting this response because:
My request for a full refund and the information of the automatic renewal in the website have not been fulfilled

On 4/9/Guest was reimbursed at total of $and her single day tickets were upgraded to Fun Cards as a guest courtesy by our Guest Correspondent, *** ***

As the Call Center agent explained, it was clearly stated on the contract you purchased online that “After your initial number of month’s membership has been fulfilled, SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment will automatically renew your membership on a
month-to-month basis on EZpayAfter your original commitment has been met, your monthly rate is subject to change at any time, and you are also able to cancel your membership by a phone request. Do you understand and agree to these terms?” No refunds can be given on continued payments
You had to read and agree to the terms before you could proceed with the purchase of the EZpay plan. Again, the months you paid over commitment cannot be refunded. However, even though you called and ended your plan on 9/17/- your passes are still active for months (thru 11/16/14)

Again, you agreed to the terms of the EZpay contract prior to making your down payment.  It is binding contract that clearly states - it rolls over to a month to month bases after commitment has been met.

As stated in your contract:

“After your initial number of month’s membership has been fulfilled, SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment will automatically renew your membership on a month-to-month basis on EZpay. After your original commitment has been met, your monthly rate is...

subject to change at any time, and you are also able to cancel your membership by a phone request.  Do you understand and agree to these terms?” No refunds can be given on continued payments.
You processed the EZpay plan transaction online and clicked on the Terms and Agreement.  So, we cannot refund your 2 months paid over commitment.  As a guest courtesy, if you like I can extend them thru 12/31/14, but I cannot refund the 2 payments.

I am rejecting this response because:
EVERYWHERE throughout the website, the EZ Pay Passes are advertised as a one year or 12-month pass.  The purchase agreement says I agree to a down payment and 11 additional monthly payments.  One line BURIED in the midst of a Terms & Conditions section of the purchasing process to me is fraudulent business practices.  Sea World has every pass holder's email address and has no problem bombarding my email with promotions and advertisements.  It is a simple task to send a courtesy email to pass holders about this extension to their billing agreement.  And, if a customer calls in unaware of this shady business practice, it is not UNREASONABLE to issue a refund.  Sea World knows exactly what they are doing and it is POOR customer service to steal money from young families by continuing to bill them after the customer fulfilled their obligation to pay for the initial one year pass.
Sea World had MULTIPLE opportunities to present their questionable practice of continued billing in all of the following locations.  In fact, their Terms & Conditions verbiage completely contradicts how this pass is advertised throughout the rest of the site and purchasing process.  This is clearly a "bait and switch" scam.  Here are just a few of the locations where it would be "best practice" to notify the consumer of Sea World's intentions to continue drafting monies from pass holders BEYOND the one year commitment (all of these are outlined in the attachment):
1. On the offer details link (on the purchase tickets page)
2. On the 3rd step of the purchase process (Review Cart)
3. On the Payment & Guest Information screen
4. In the first "Terms and Conditions" section
This business practice is an obvious candidate for a class action lawsuit against Sea World Corporation.

I am rejecting this response because:
I am rejecting this response because:
The email I received from Sea  World after the order was  processed clearly states "... plus  11 additional monthly payments of $54.15 (with tax)". It means there
will be exactly 11 additional  payments, not 13, not 10 either.  Exactly 11 payments.(and Email doesn't show "SeaWorld Parks &  Entertainment will automatically  renew your membership on a month- to-month basis on EZpay.")
Secondly, the company have  received many complaints before.  Why they did not change ? Why they  continue to rip off the customers ? The American way of Easy Pay set up is, it STOPS after the amount paid in full. ( otherwise it is a shame ). EZ Pay should be made easy to make payments ( not Easy Way of making money )
Thirdly, did the company expect  all EZ pay customers to remember the terms of service for 11 months  (until the EZ pay full filled ) ?.  I am sure they don't because they  know they can over charge their  customers and get away with it  (sofar).
Finally, All the  above facts  conlcude that the comapny is aware of the deceitful business and did  not make a GOOD FAITH attempt to STOP it.

When you signed up for the EZpay contract, right before you complete your order, it gave you the Terms and asked if you agreed.  You cannot proceed to check out unless you click and acknowledge that you have read it.
Although the Orlanod office did give you a refund for 3 months, we cannot refund any other payment.
