To Whom it May Concern,We are in receipt of complaint #[redacted], billing dispute.  Customer states he pre-paid monitoring 7/01/15 – 6/30/16 which we are in agreement. He also, states in his written cancellation letter on file dated 9/27/16, that he contacted us in April 2016 “that the front...

door was replaced and the security system was removed from house”. We have no record of this communication or request to terminate service. Our first awareness of his intent was the result of a collection call 8/18/16 following up on a past due invoice. What we do have record of is weekly testing activity on the account through deactivation by Seacoast Security on 10/03/16.  This includes protocol dispatch response to customer on 5/05/16 for account activity. To receive these test signals alarm panel and a communication path would have to be active and not removed from the premises. Our monitoring contracts include annual automatic renewal terms and our cancellation policy is 30 day written notification.
