To Whom it May Concern,We are in receipt of complaint # [redacted] , billing dispute Customer states he pre-paid monitoring 7/01/– 6/30/which we are in agreementHe also, states in his written cancellation letter on file dated 9/27/16, that he contacted us in April “that the front door was replaced and the security system was removed from house”We have no record of this communication or request to terminate serviceOur first awareness of his intent was the result of a collection call 8/18/following up on a past due invoiceWhat we do have record of is weekly testing activity on the account through deactivation by Seacoast Security on 10/03/ This includes protocol dispatch response to customer on 5/05/for account activityTo receive these test signals alarm panel and a communication path would have to be active and not removed from the premisesOur monitoring contracts include annual automatic renewal terms and our cancellation policy is day written notificationMr [redacted] ’s contract was signed on 7/12/Summary of activity:1/01/– 10/03/– Weekly panel communication with monitoring center5/05/– Call to customer from monitoring center regarding alarm account activity7/01/- Annual monitoring invoice sent for 7/– 6/20178/18/– Call to customer as a collection curtesy Customer state he no longer wanted our service and refused to speak with our deactivation department Customer stated to send him termination notification and he would sign and return8/18/– Cancellation docs sent with request to sign and return9/21/- Resent “ “10/04/– Unsigned cancellation doc returned accompanied with a “no signature” cancellation letter dated 9/27/1610/06/– Credit issue dated back to 8/18/verbal cancellation date10/11/- Complaint filed with Revdex.com At no time do we have recorded any conversation disputing balance due other than letter received 10/04/16Goodwill Adjustment:We will credit existing balance of $and refund request April – June & $72.00If further discussion is required, please don’t hesitate to contact me.Respectfully, [redacted] CFOSeacoast Security, Inc.###-###-#######-###-#### direct
