Review: I recently booked a room for 3 days and 2 nights at SeaCrest Ocean front Hotel in Pismo,Ca. for a little vacation with my girlfriend and her daughter for a cost of $ 488.00 . I booked room through Expedia.com . Expedia charged my credit card $288.00 and informed me that I would be charged $200.00 at check In upon arrival at our motel for the second night of my reservation. Every thing was fine. On the 2nd day my girlfriends daughter had come down with the flue, so we were confined to the room with a sick kid . The maid came in several times that morning and said sorry and left. I went to get medicine and when I returned I was informed the maid had came back 2 more times and entered the room. finally at 11:00am the maid tells me to call the front desk because I only had a reservation for 1 night and they needed me to check out. I went to the front desk and they said I only paid for one night and they had that room rented so I had to check out now.they checked again for me and said that I had only paid for one night. We both live out of town and had a very sick kid and all hotels were booked up so we had no choice but to go home. Next week I look at my credit card statement and there is a charge for 288.00 to Expedia for one night and a 200.00 charge for the second night from SeaCreast Hotel and a charge of 100.00 from SeaCreast for 100.00 for a total of $588.00 for a room for one night. I got copy's of everything a took a trip back to Pismo beach to show them that I did in fact pay for 2 nights. They tried to say that the 100.00 charge was a smoking charge because the maid said the room smelled like smoke. There was no smoking in the room , we had a child with 103 degree temperature in the room. So now I showed them the charge for 1 night of 288.00 to Expedia and showed them the other charge of 200.00 from them for the 2nd night. they told me that his was another smoking charge and was not for the 2nd night.how can you charge a 200.00 fine for smoking in room before you even get to the room?Desired Settlement: The hotel did finally take off the 300.00 charge after ruining our vacation
