I'm not sure what you are getting atYou are rejecting the contract you signed? We have an office staff who answers our phones during all business hoursThis certainly isn't about lack of communicationWe are extremely available. Here is a summary of events: Customer signs contract for custom windows Company orders custom windows Customer finds a deal they can't resist on a new house Company receives custom windows from building supplier Company attemptts to schedule install of custom windows Customer says they no longer want the windows because they bought an additional home Company tells customer that protocol for this situation is covered in contract that customer signed Customer says they will complain to Revdex.com unless we refund her for her deposit Company rejects customer request because we are heavily invested in job Here we are

It seems neither Seahawk Remodeling nor their manufacturing partner Alside operate at a speed compatible with your time constraints I guess I just wanted to tell the Revdex.com that the issue still isn't really resolved You can see Seahawk gave me another phone number to call, at which I've left multiple voice and text messages at without being called back If you read through our (maddening) exchange, I guess that's probably all Seahawk plans to do, so maybe there's no point in dragging this out further But, I certainly don't think they should get "credit", on your end, for doing anything I think my ordeal should be an eye opening revelation to anyone who thinks the "worry free warranty" is actually a thing with these guys

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: We signed the contract provided in good faith that we would be treated respectfully in returnThat failed to happen once the deposit check was cashedBased on my experience with the lack of communication and follow through on initial agreements made I would not sign the contract againI believe other consumers have the right to learn from our experienceThe provided contract protects the business' interests, it fails to hold the business accountable to the agreements made to the customer verbally or to hold them accountable to treat customers fairly and respectfully
Sincerely,
*** *** *** ***

This customer had three business days to terminate the contract without penalty. The client has terminated the contract outside of this period.
In paragraph 7.2 it says "Owner may terminate this Agreement by providing written notice to the Contractor.  Unless the termination is made pursuant...

to Paragraphs 7.1 or 9.7 of this Agreement , Owner will pay contractor liquidated damages in the amount of one-third (1/3) of the Contract Price, or the cost of this Agreement to the Contractor until the date that Contractor received Owner's written notice of termination, whichever is greater.

I can provide documentation if needed.
The customer decided to buy a new house and doesn't want the windows installed in the house the contract was written for.  My company has a lot of resources invested in this project and thats why we have a contract.  This is the exact purpose of a contract.

The Lifetime warranty is from the manufacturer, Alside.  This is a product defect and must be dealt with thru the manufacturer.

I'm not sure what you are getting at. You are rejecting the contract you signed? We have an office staff who answers our phones during all business hours. This certainly isn't about lack of communication. We are extremely available. Here is a summary of events:

6 Customer says they no longer want the windows because they bought an additional home

10 Here we are

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
I do not find the information provided by Seahawk Remodeling as complete or accurate.  To me this is not only about lack of communication, it is also about integrity and honesty.

The office staff I spoke to when I called the office basically told me, "I don't recognize that project, I will have Cameron return your call."
Here is a summary of events updated to reflect my understanding and perspective:
1 Customer signs contract for windows -  we chose out of a catalog with the salesperson, with the verbal understanding that the job would be installed 6 to 8 weeks from receipt of the deposit check.
2 Company orders custom windows - I have no evidence of this being true.
3 Customer -  makes an offer far below asking price of a dream home down the street that unexpectedly came on the market.  The offer is accepted.
4 Company receives custom windows from building supplier - again no evidence of the validity of this statement and no contact initiated by Seahawk communicating this information until now.
5 Company attemptts to schedule install of custom windows - No attempt was made to schedule, when I called to cancel the project and spoke to Cameron, he told me he had "planned to call me in the next few days to schedule installation."
6 Customer says they no longer want the windows because they bought an additional home - purchasing the new home was the final piece in a decision process, already in progress, to cancel a project that was not unfolding as expected.
7 Company tells customer that protocol for this situation is covered in contract that customer signed - The contract was signed in good faith, one which I, the customer,  would not sign again based on my experience.
8 Customer says they will complain to Revdex.com unless we refund her for her deposit - I told Cameron & Nick that I would share my experience with the Revdex.com if we were unable to find a resolution that we can both agree too, I originally requested a refund of 1/2 of the deposit out of fairness to all involved.
9 Company rejects customer request because we are heavily invested in job - again, the customer has received no evidence, even though it's been requested. I was verbally told by Nick, with Cameron listening, on our phone call, that evidence of costs would be provided if I made the request via email.  Which I did. I received no response to the email.
10 Here we areSincerely,[redacted]

I guess I just wanted to tell the Revdex.com that the issue still isn't really resolved.  You can see Seahawk gave me another phone number to call, at which I've left multiple voice and text messages at without being called back.  If you read through our (maddening) exchange, I guess that's probably all Seahawk plans to do, so maybe there's no point in dragging this out further.  But, I certainly don't think they should get "credit", on your end, for doing anything.

I think my ordeal should be an eye opening revelation to anyone who thinks the "worry free warranty" is actually a thing with these guys.

I have contacted Alside again in an effort to get this resolved for you. Your door was ordered from the East Coast plant and that's why they were having trouble locating your order. The reason it wasn't manufactured locally is because the color combination you chose is only manufactured there, hence the longer than normal wait time for install. Anyhow, Brian is the regional manager and has told me he is willing to work with you direct. He told me he has reached out and left you a message. Please call or text him direct.
