I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID
***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Seahorse called within hours of the complaint to come by and inspect the pool the next day. The Seahorse rep and the plaster specialist decided on a course of action to correct the problem. Once the pool was drained, the extent of the problem led to a decision to completely re-plaster the pool. A timetable was set to start after a forecast for rain had passed. The plaster job was completed and a week later (today) there is no sign of discoloration.

I am rejecting this response because:  We do not owe the balance between the 125.00 paid and the amount indicated by Seahorse Pools.  The grids were broken by the person who came out to clean the filter.  He was seen stacking the grids and pushing down on them in the stack.  The grids are plastic with a cloth covering.  They are not to be stacked and pressed.  My husband did not give permission to install the new grids.  The person cleaning the filter intended to replace the grids regardless.  That is how they make money.   Anyone who has cleaned the filter in the past has always told us if there was a problem and gave us the option to going to a pool supply and purchasing new grids.  The cost of the grids installed by Seahorse were out of line in price and would not have been needed in the first place if not broken by the person cleaning the filter.  My husband states he would be glad to remove the grids and return them to Seahorse Pools.  My husband does state he will not pay for the grids when they are the replacement for grids broken by the person cleaning the filter.  As to the lying, cheating, intimidation, anyone who has had a pool knows that grids do not last ten years and the owner and service manager intimated the grids were possibly ten years old.  As to the cheating, it is not honest to intentionally break grids so they can be replaced with overpriced grids that have been provided to the filter cleaner.  As to intimidation, a person does not come out to someone's home at 7 in the evening with crossed arms and an aggressive manner.  The owner was told that my husband was not available to talk with him.  The owner had stated he would be here much earlier and my husband had given up on his arrival.  I was shocked when the owner arrived so late and I was shocked at his aggressive manner.  I told him he would have to come back another time and he became angry.  We paid the 125.00.  If they want the grids returned, my husband would be happy to do so.
