In looking at our records we show that this door was purchased in August of 2010. With that we have had our Territory Manager on site as well as a representative from the dealer to assess the door and his outcome is that it is finish relatedWe have also sent all of the
information ( pictures, timeline, etc ) to the manufacturer ( Therma Tru ) so that they can look into as well to make sure that there are not any warrantable items in the manufacturing processIf they find that there are we will help to coordinate any work they deem needed

Seal Rite Door has been on site with our service team, the representative from [redacted] as well as [redacted]r. We replaced the original door and on 5-29-2013 our Sales Manager, rep from [redacted], our service teach and a rep from RF installations were...

on site. It was determined through inspection that the unit and installation were fine. We then went back out in late 2014 at the request of [redacted] and the Home owner and it was deemed that the unit was not completely caulked under the sill. This is required on all Therma Tru unit installations for warranty purposes. We at Seal Rite feel we have gone over and above helping from the onset to get the door taken care of to the best of our ability. We have replaced the oringiall as well as offering credits towards re-installation. At this point we feel there is nothing more we can or are willing to offer.

I was never informed by Seal Rite Door or [redacted] that this issue was "not covered by warranty." To the contrary, I have emails that state specifically that it IS in fact covered by warranty as well as a written statement by a service technician who indicates that this is a manufacturing defect. In addition, Sea Rite has already acknowledged warranty coverage by sending parts under warranty to repair the door which turned out to be the wrong parts.Seal Rite has refused to deal with me directly from the start having been directed to [redacted] over and over again. My emails to Seal Rite were returned with advice to deal with [redacted]. [redacted] supports my effort to have the warranty enforced.I have email and written evidence of every exchange with both [redacted] and Seal Rite which I have referenced above.
