The prior company that worked on this floor did extensive damage to both the tile and surrounding surfaces on walls and woodwork It was explained to the customer at the time of my estimate that we would use the best quality blue tape to protect surrounding surfaces However a great deal of damage had already been done and varnish and paint damaged by the prior company and I explained that the damaged paint and varnish are even more likely to be peeled off upon removal of our low tack tape This disclaimer was given both verbally by me at the time of the estimate and by my foreman prior to the commencement of the work Additionally this disclaimer about not being responsible for damage to surfaces abutting the tile was included in the contract signed by the customer A copy of that contract is available upon request I have also included an attachment of a screen shot of their complaint on Yelp posted prior to our work stating that their adjoining surface were ruined by the prior company It seems that the other company either does not have the wherewithal to compensate them for damage they did or just simply refused to take responsibilityOn behalf of the other company it is important to note that any time a paint stripper is used to remove heavy sealer from a tile it is impossible for some damage to paint not to occur That being said damage by the other company was excessive as they noted in their published complaint on Yelp.com That is why we always note this possibility at the time of the estimate and also in writing on the contract Some minor surrounding surfaces damage did occur as a result of our work but it was well within the standard of the industry and once again written warning was provided in the contractThe result of the stripping and resealing of this floor was exemplary, and we are very proud of the result The customer did state that they felt that there were a few areas of the floor that they felt could have come out better, so we came back cheerfully the very next day and addressed each and every concern they had I might also add that we had already been paid in full before we came back to address their concernsWe have no complaints on Revdex.com and we have done over of these Mexican Paver restorations I think our track record speaks for itself

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Mr *** seems to believe that I was describing damage done by another company when I was notI previously told him his company did as much or more damage than the other company and I am not combining the two Mr*** was not here when the work was performed and he has not seen itHe relies on his contract which his employee took, without our knowledge or permission, from our home after going through our personal belongings We have no copy nor a receipt because his employee took all paperwork , among other things, while we were confined to another area away from where the work took placeAnd if you, too, choose to rely on his contract for purposes of financial impacts to us, that does not negate the fact that the work was not carefully done nor was ir done in a workman like mannerThe business did return once and did a haphazard repair job, and still left areas where stripper was not removed, tiles showing damage from stripping, etc His employees always leave with the floors wet so no inspection is possibleThe real issue is that the business did not perorm in a quality manner and its employees went through our personal belongings which is clearly not the type of business the Revdex.com should be endorsing so highly

The prior company that worked on this floor did extensive damage to both the tile and surrounding surfaces on walls and woodwork.  It was explained to the customer at the time of my estimate that we would use the best quality blue tape to protect surrounding surfaces.  However a great deal...

of damage had already been done and varnish and paint damaged by the prior company and I explained that the damaged paint and varnish are even more likely to be peeled off upon removal of our low tack tape.  This disclaimer was given both verbally by me at the time of the estimate and by my foreman prior to the commencement of the work.  Additionally this disclaimer about not being responsible  for damage to surfaces abutting the tile was included in the contract signed by the customer.  A copy of that contract is available upon request.  I have also included an attachment of a screen shot of their complaint  on Yelp posted prior to our work stating that their adjoining surface were ruined by the prior company.  It seems that the other company either does not have the wherewithal to compensate them for damage they did or just simply refused to take responsibility. On behalf of the other company it is important to note that any time a paint stripper is used to remove heavy sealer from a tile it is impossible for some damage to paint not to occur.  That being said damage by the other company was excessive as they noted in their published  complaint on Yelp.com  That is why we always note this possibility at the time of the estimate and also in writing on the contract.  Some minor surrounding surfaces damage did occur as a result of our work but it was well within the standard of the industry and once again written warning was provided in the contract. The result of the stripping and resealing of this floor was exemplary, and we are very proud of the result.  The customer did state that they felt that there were a few areas of the floor that they felt could have come out better, so we came back cheerfully the very next day and addressed each and every concern they had.  I might also add that we had already been paid in full before we came back to address their concerns. We have no complaints on Revdex.com and we have done over 8000 of these Mexican Paver restorations.  I think our track record speaks for itself.
