Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: On july ** Car broke down off Highway, coasted into gas stationFuel pump detected at faultCar repaired on July *Since repair, car would not take gas into tankstation was made aware of situationStated that air was in system and will disappearon July **, Car was taken to a seperate shop who upon taking gas tank down, found that all gas lines, fuel and vent lines were damaged from bad installation by prior mechanics and shop who initially did fuel pump This secondary repair cost $additional dollars and was done correctly.( Second repair done at Nacmias and Sons service at [redacted] *** in Breezy Point- [redacted] ) All proper info retained by myself and damaged parts that were replaced have been retained by Myself> [redacted]

[redacted] Came to station on 7/*/17, car not runningDid diagnostic and determined problem was the fuel pumpIt had to be replacedAdvised [redacted] that a new fuel pump was needed, lines blown out/cleaned and car timed and readjusted, quoted a price for the total repair at $*** [redacted] agreed; based upon that I ordered and received the appropriate fuel pump, DFGFuel Module for a Chevy Truck Tahoe, from Auto Zone, properly installed the pump made necessary adjustments at which time the Chevy was working properly [redacted] came in, paid the fee and leftapproximately two weeks later [redacted] called complaining that his Chevy was not operating properly, I asked him to return and, IF THERE WAS ANY PROBLEM WITH OUR REPAIRS I would fix it with no further charge or cost to customerIf the fuel pump ordered and received from auto zone was defective I would repair and replace it at no cost [redacted] refused, said he l ived in Rockaway Park and it was too far for him to return and he demanded a complete refundI said I could not refund his money without checking the vehicle to insure the problems alleged were related to my repairs, i.ethe fuel pump [redacted] refusedThis complaint was then receivedI reiterate that the repairs and parts installed and done by me were proper and well doneI have not received any document from any qualified repair station or mechanic to indicate otherwiseHad [redacted] returned to my station we would have corrected any problem with our repairs and if problems were caused in fact by our services made an accommodation to [redacted] ***, Manager###-###-####

[redacted] came in, paid the fee and left. approximately two weeks later [redacted] called complaining that his Chevy was not operating properly, I asked him to return and, IF THERE WAS ANY PROBLEM WITH OUR REPAIRS I would fix it with no further charge or cost to customer. If the fuel pump ordered and received from auto zone was defective I would repair and replace it at no cost.
