Review: March 2013 my business partners and I commissioned he services of Sean Lott Films to be he film production company for our upcoming reality show. After going over logistics with Mr. Lott we were told ha our production would cost $10,000 plus travel expenses and that a 5,000 deposit should be made out to Mr. Lott's wife [redacted] before we began filming in April 2013. I advised my clients to send Mr. Lott a cashiers check with the deposit which they did before our shoot date. During the time between our payment and the first shoot we scheduled a out of country shoot that cost our company another 4,000 for Mr. Lott's company. Mr. Lott and his crew arrived to New York on April 1st late and insisted that we shouldn't spend another 1k on hotels and that it was ok that the crew stay a our home. When it came time for he crew to arrive to New York a second time for a production scheduled trip to Cancun, Mr. Lott informed us that his son was hospitalized and that he was not sending crew members which was in breach of our contract at the advice of a [redacted]. At that point we were informed that Sean Lott films couldn't performed the work they were contracted to do and would return both our previously shot footage and return our 5k deposit as well. We were giving a date of June 22nd for he deposit return and as of July 10th we have no received ha return and ever call, text messages and email we have sent inquiring about the status of our return has went unanswered. Mr. Lott insisted that he is waiting for [redacted] to release the deposit but has not reached out to us about the status of the deposit since June 2013 and refuse to return our calls forcing us to file a lawsuit against his company for our 5k deposit as well as the money we lost for he production trip to Cancun.Desired Settlement: We would like for Mr. Lott and Sean Lo Films to return the Deposit we paid to him because he didnt perform the work we contracted him to do.
