Excellent care, thorough explanation and fair price. This family run business gave us a full explanation of what the problem with our AC unit and their opinion of our options. It's true, they are honest , dependable , and fairly priced. They installed a new system in my home and I could not be happier.
I have recommended this company to two friends and both of them said they saved thousands of dollars. In one case they only needed a repair not a new system and with the second friend although he did need a new system he had been ready to buy and oversized and overpriced unit until McCutcheons came out and took a look.

These folks are the best AC company on the Gulf Coast ...seriously! Very professional both the technician and the office staff. They explain everything they do and don't replace parts until it's really required. Highly recommended.

Josh, the service manager, just came out to give me an estimate for an AC repair. What a wonderful person he is: polite, friendly, informed, and honest. He did not push me into expensive pointless repairs or pressure me into buying a new system. The estimate he gave me was quite different from that given to me by another company. He is sending someone today to take care of my repair. When I do have to buy a new unit, I will get one from this company. I'm grateful to the people who recommended them here. Thank you for taking the time to post. I wholeheartedly add my praise to the comments noted here. This is an honest business!!!
Follow up: The technician was just as nice as the service manager, and my system is up and running. The final charge was literally one sixth of what the other company gave me for an estimate. I am extremely grateful to have found my way to an honest, ethical, professional team. These are people you will like welcoming to your home. I could not be happier with them. They even offered to recommend a brand for a portable ac for emergencies for hurricane season, and they do not sell them. Their website says we only offer you the advice we would all give our own moms, and I believe it, based on our experience.

We switched from *** AC about 5 years ago to Sean McCutcheon's and could not be happier. The price of the install was way better than what *** offered (to a customer of 10 years!) and their maintenance contract is also very good both in pricing and service. The people that work for Sean's are true professionals and are very well trained. The service our AC twice a year and they are quick, efficient, clean and provide excellent service and they explain stuff in simple terms. We highly recommend!!
I was charged for parts that didnt fix the problem
I called this ac comnpany because my ac was not keeping up during the hot part of the day . a tech came out told me I needed a new capacitor and breaker for the outside unit. by the time the tech finished it was dark and the ac was working normal anyways so I didnt know that the problem was not fixed. I am gone all day 7 days a week. and my son came over about a month later and said the same problem was happening. so my son looked at it for me and said the coils and fan needed to be serviced so he performed the job and now the ac works properly. I paid sean's business $375. my son called him explained what was going on and what he did . sean offered my son $50 which was an insult ,and my son became very mad in which sean said that my son could come to seans business and fight him . very unprofessional. I would like my money back please.

The issue as stated by the customer is not correct. The customer called in at 9:26 a.m. on July 6, 2017 stating that her system was not running. We dispatched an experienced Service Tech to her residence and he found that the system was not running. He checked everything out and found a problem with a capacitor and a breaker, which upon customer approval, he fixed. The system was working normally when he left.Her son called us a month later demanding her money back. Sean explained that everything we had done was absolutely necessary and offered him $50 as a good will gesture. He threatened to extort us for the money by putting negative posts on social media. This Revdex.com posting is just another attempt to extort money from us. We feel it would set a bad precedent, for all businesses, to refund money to people who threaten to smear you in social media for providing legitimate services. We would hope that the Revdex.com would support all businesses in this effort.

When my son was on the phone with Sean he was on speaker phone and I was present listening to the call. Sean offered my son $50 for beer money which was very insulting , and then offered to fight my son at his place of business. Sean was not being sincere when he was offering the $50 he was being a ***. I did put a bad review on Sean's Facebook page and had many other people private message me saying Sean replaced their capacitor and didn't properly repair their ac as well . I am still requesting my full $375 because my son repaired the ac properly and now it cools though out the day like it should . So I paid Sean's business $375 for nothing because the work they did didn't keep the house cool all day and that was my original complaint.
After obtaining several sets of quotes across 3 well known companies in the Sarasota area, we settled on utilizing Sean McCutcheon to replace both air conditioners and air handlers, along with the refrigerant lines and some duct work. We could not be any happier with the experience we had with Mark, Nick, Zak, Markus, Ian, Ryan, and Jamie.
Mark provided us with the quotes and worked with us in a very responsive fashion with lots of back and forth on different models and options whereas competitors were unresponsive after the initial quote. We also had a particular issue with a home office not cooling properly and his attention to detail on the issues resulted in a different proposal from the other competitors and it has worked out flawlessly.
Nick, Zak, Marcus, Ian, Ryan, and Jamie arrived on the install day exactly as scheduled and worked tirelessly throughout the +11 hours they were here to take care of both units. They also went above and beyond what was outlined in the proposal at no additional costs and our home cooks much faster and more efficiently thanks to their work.
It's important for as large a purchase as this is to ensure that the installation of this equipment is done properly and we can say that the team at Sean McCutcheon meets and exceeds these requirements.
