Representative called to "VERIFY AN ADDRESS AND WHERE TO SEND INVOICE" without any knowledge agreed to a 589$ product. this was never intended
on july 17th a rep from search engine america called and the tone of the phone call was that this was a product we already had and that they needed to verify our info for billing purposes. I verified information and they sent the invoice to me. at no time was I aware that I WAS BUYING A PRODUCT. we have continued to deal with them however they continue to redirect us when we call. This is a shady business practice taking advantage of busy employees who think they are simply verifying info

Desired Outcome

i am seeking the dissolution of the invoice and immediate removal from their service

On July 17, 2017, Search Engine America dba Bizpagessea.com solicited Manager *** of Mellow Mushroom Pizza. He was offered a renewal for the annual listing with Bizpagessea.com for $589.00.

Bizpagessea.com has a monitored telephone call of *** accepting the solicitation; the price was quoted twice in dollars and was told that it would be sent to his attention as authorized purchaser. On September 25, 2017, we were told to contact Mark Gratton, we did attempt to contact Mr Gratton and left messages for a return call to come to a resolution, we never received a response back.

The bottom line is Bizpagessea.com called and solicited a Manager who was not authorized. We did try to resolve amicably and contacted the people that we were directed to contact; unfortunately we never had a chance to resolve this with the people in charge as they never returned our calls.

Clearly the manager was not authorized to make these types of purchases, and we should have been advised within the first 30 days after receiving the invoice by either Mr Gratton or Mr ***.

In a good faith, Search Engine America dba Bizpagessea.com credited invoice #XXXXXX with a zero balance on November 10, 2017.

Thank you

Search Engine America contacted us in August 2017 regarding a invoice from March 2017. We did not request nor authorize their service.
Mike from Search Engine America contacted our AP supervisor regarding a past due invoice from March 2017. The AP Supervisor contacted the store manager and the general manager in regards to the invoice. Both indicated the invoice was not authorized and that this was a scam. The employee Search Engine America cited as authorizing their service does not have the authority to do so. The AP Supervisor emailed Mike and told him the invoice was not authorized, we know it's a scam and we're not paying the invoice. Today a T Roberts T. Roberts at(***@gmail.com)contacted the AP Supervisor demanding payment or the company would be sent to collections, incur transfer and legal fees and the debt would be reported to the top 3 credit reporting agencies. This same T Roberts also went on the company's website and submitted contact from stating the same threats mentioned above.

Desired Outcome

I would like Search Engine America to cancel the invoice, cease collection efforts and to never contact our company again.

On March 8, 2017, Search Engine America dba Bizpagessea.com solicited Manager Rhonda Collum of Hitchcock's Market. She was offered an annual Listing with Bizpagessea.com for $589.00.

In Ms. complaint, she stated the Listing was not authorized. Bizpagessea.com has a monitored telephone call of Rhonda Collum accepting the solicitation. In addition, she stated their store personnel is not authorized. In this case, Rhonda Collum must not be aware of Hitchcock's store policy because she willing authorized the Listing.

The bottom line is Bizpagessea.com called and solicited an employee who was not authorized. This matter could have been resolved amicably if only Ms. would have contacted Bizpagessea.com directly or via letter and apprised them of the situation.

Search Engine America dba Bizpagessea.com should not be held responsible for soliciting a manager who is not aware of their own company's purchasing policy.

In a good faith effort, Search Engine America dba Bizpagessea.com has credited invoice #XXXXXX with a zero balance.

Hitchcock's Market has been removed from Search Engine America dba Bizpagessea.com database.

Company claims we "authorized" advertised service with them. Only owner and operations director can authorize advertising. Neither did.
Received a statement from company stating we had an outstanding invoice. As this company was not in our vender list, I called and spoke to someone who said that the service was "approved" and that there was a recording of our manager at this location approving the service. Our staff is fully aware that they are not in any way ALLOWED to authorize any type of advertising. All advertising is handled through our home office and by the owner. They have never spoken to him. When I explained this to the person they threated us with legal action. Complaints have been filed with the FTC and Attorney General of the State of Ohio regarding this company.

Desired Outcome

Bill to be voided and $0 owed.

In Ms. complaint, she stated only the owner and operations director have purchasing authority. Mr. Franz did not refer the salesperson to his corporate office. Instead, he accepted the solicitation. He he obviously unaware of his company's purchasing policy.
