The problem was resolved this morning, when the customercame in with her credit card.Credit was issued on the spot.  We apologized for any inconvenience andmisunderstanding due to language barrier.

Review: I ordered car service on Feb **, 2014 at 6:15 pm. I was assured that all tolls were included.I got a driver who didn't speak English. Asked me about 20 times for an adress; which I only knew the cross streets to. The driver asked me to program his GPS; which I never did before; I don't drive. We made a U turn-which was un-necessary-around [redacted] ave in Brooklyn.The driver stopped 3 times in LIVE traffic on the Belt Parkway trying to figure out how to get to Manhattan; all the time asking ME how to get there. I don't speak Russian, nor do I drive.I called 911 in frustration. We got to the Midtown Tunnel; and the driver had the nerve to ask ME for the toll-which I didn't have-even though dispatch had assured me that the tolls were covered.When we finally crossed the bridge; I ended up getting out fo the car; as the driver onc again asked me for the address; which again-I never had to memorize as I usually travel by train. I ended up taking a train the rest of the way. I called he car service and asked for a refund twice- I was told "We don't give refunds." Even after I explained what had happened.Desired Settlement: Immediate refund of my 45.50 that I paid for this trip.

Review: I have been using this car service for a while now, there are usually small discrepancies in the time they state they will arrive and the actual time they do arrive. It is not unusual for me to have to call them a second time inquiring about the location of the car. I understand that it can get busy but the customer service I received on this day was truly disgusting. I made my usual call to order a car, the dispatcher told me the car would arrive in "7 to 8 minutes". When I came outside, 10 minutes had passed. I called again to check the status of the car and was told that the driver was "stuck" but should arrive in "3 minutes". I proceeded to wait 3 minutes, still no car. I then called again to let them know the driver had still not arrived, at this point I guess they didn't want to hear my complaining anymore because they put me on hold for about 2 minutes. Someone then returned on the call, "Seaside Car Service". It was obviously not the person who initially answered the call. I said, "Yes, I was just speaking with somebody else?" again they put me on hold until I could no longer take it and hung up. I then again called back saying, "I have been waiting for a car for 20 minutes now..." before I even got a chance to finish my sentence I was cut off, "The car is around the block". And the dispatcher hung up. I waited a few more minutes and the car finally showed up. I started to argue with the driver who told me he was just a "victim" in this whole thing. I then found it to be true. 5 minutes into the ride, the dispatcher radioed the driver to ask if he had picked up his passenger, the driver replied "Yes, the girl would like to know why she had to wait 20 minutes".. No answer from the dispatcher. The driver said to me, "See, they don't even answer." I was so furious that I told the driver I am not paying him for this ride. He then explained to me that the money does not go to them, it goes to him and then they split it at the end of the day. As furious as I was, I decided not to lower myself to that. I paid the driver and even gave him a $2 tip. Upon reaching my destination, I once again called the car service to address my complaint with them. I started off by saying, "I would like to tell you that your customer service is horrible..." Once again, the dispatcher did not want to hear this. I received an "Uha ok", and a click. Never have I been so furious with customer service in my life. To go online and write a complaint, I am genuinely angry with this company. This whole ordeal has honestly ruined my morning! Not to mention, made me late to where I had to be. Needless to say, I will never call this rude car service again.Desired Settlement: I do not wish for an apology, a refund, or anything from this company. All I am hoping for by writing this complaint is for it to reach them and for them to understand that they cannot and should not be lying about the wait time of the cars arrival and they especially should not be rude to their customers. The customers are essentially what keeps the business going! They have for sure lost this customer. And I will be sure to spread the word.

I have received a response via telephone from Seaside Car Service in reference to complaint ID [redacted]. The business offered me their sincerest apologies and a free ride to any location of my choice. They have assured me that they are working on determining the person responsible and penalizing them accordingly.
