In response to Ms***s rebuttalNew Towns is willing to sit down with Ms*** and refinance her into a lower payment plan that is more affordable for herWe are also willing to take a look at the vehicle to have repairs doneI am attaching Ms***s current billing ledgerMs*** has fallen behind and our computer system automatically generates a late fee when payment is not metI am willing to remove the late fees when she comes in to refinanceAs for the GPS unit Ms*** sent a photo of, This is a device for tracking ONLYWe do not disable customers vehiclesMs*** signed a contract (which I attached in my prior response) stating that we may put in a starter interruption device or GPS unitHowever, we do not use starter interruptionAdditionally, When I spoke to Ms***s husband, I was under the impression that he was wanting to pay on the car note to remove the repossession that was/is currently in effectIn order for the repossession to be cancelled, Ms*** will need to make arrangements to come in with a full payment, the vehicle and the GPS unit she removed and discuss a plan to put into action for refinancing and repairing the vehicle

I am rejecting this response because:
this business is bold-face lying! I NEVER hit any potholes, nor did I EVER scrape anything with the sides of the vehicle Now that we have that pettiness out of the way, lets continue New Towns Auto did everything in their power to scam me into taking this vehicle off their hands! New Tires? the front tires do not match the rear tires, and they are not new, they are USED!!! but you added NEW dollar charges to my total didn't you?!?! yes, you did! You charged me for a set of new tires!!! Where is that receipt?!?!?!?!I was also told you put new rotors and new brakes all around...no, you did not!!! I did think you were trying to make it right by fixing the few things in the beginning, but when it came to the Catalytic Converter, you backed off and said, "You're garage and mechanic are NOT qualified to work on those" you all of a sudden threw me to the curb and once again just turned off the Check Engine light and sent me on my way! Should we talk about the Crappy Loaner van you TRIED to give me? I don't have the energy to talk about that nightmare! Interestingly enough, I did bring the enclave to VALVOLINE they run every vehicle's VIN# and they did NOT have this vehicle in their system!!!! what do you mean you have a standing order with them, they told me it had NEVER been in their system! in fact they told me SEVERAL things were wrong with the vehicle! Like the Anti-freeze, transmission fluid, both need to be serviced...immediately! Not to mention the air-filters needed to be changed! Valvoline is very thorough and keep very good records, you are BOLD-face lying! I just wish I would have read the Revdex.com website prior to purchasing a vehicle with your business Buyer Beware! Buyer Be Warned

Response received via e-mail to Revdex.com, 5/10/17: Miss *** had purchased vehicles from us, both on Buy Here Pay Here in-house financingWe repossessed the Ford Expedition that was purchased on 10/12/on 3/18/due to non-paymentA down payment, pinote and partial payment had

When New Towns Autos sold the BMW in February, we were unaware of any mechanical issues. We sell all of our vehicles "as is" with the option to purchase a warranty from an outside resource. Unfortunately, some issues occurred a couple of months after the initial purchase of the vehicle...

and Mr [redacted] had not accepted the warranty option. However, New Towns Autos DOES offer a preferred customer mechanical services (tune ups are not part of this service). When Mr. [redacted] called us stating that he was having issues we told him to bring it in and we would take a look a it. Mr [redacted] stated that he was having financial burdens and requested that we put the bill on the back end of his deal if he brought it in. We agreed to do that. Upon further inspection by our in-house mechanics, it was found that the vehicle was to be sent out to an outside source. New Towns reached out to Mr [redacted] to explain to him the circumstances and that it would need to be paid for in order to have this done by another shop, as New Towns would need to come out of pocket as well. He agreed to have the vehicle sent out. When the vehicle was ready to be picked up by Mr [redacted], he stated that he did not have the funds to recoup the vehicle. Mr [redacted] owes for repairs and LAST months car note as well. New Towns Autos is always willing to work with our customers to keep them in their vehicles, however, Mr [redacted] got upset when asked to pay for services rendered even though he agreed to have the car sent out for repairs. He may retrieve his vehicle when his car note and repair bill is paid. New Towns is willing to work with him for extending this months payment so that he is able to catch up, however, he is not willing to speak to us without police presence or raising his voice.   Please see the attached file containing New Towns Autos preferred customer mechanical serviced affidavit.

Ms [redacted] indicates that she is seeking explanation / clarification on:1) Reported discrepancy in vehicle price (says price was not on vehicle itself, salesperson did not attempt to explain seeming discrepancy between $5,995 and $8,900) All vehicles have a Buyers guide displayed in the windows of...

our vehicles. We have an outside company that comes to the lot and prints/displays on ALL cars on lot. Ms [redacted] purchased a vehicle that was priced at $8,995.00. Ms, [redacted] stated that she had a $3000.00 deposit down on the vehicle, bringing her balance to $5,995.00 and giving her a discount of $95.00. Plus taxes and transfers. 2) Dealer's policies on late payment / vehicle shut-off (says she was not specifically advised of dealer's policy on this, was given no warning of imminent shut-off, etc.)Although we do have a policy that every customer signs allowing GPS and kill switch on our vehicles, we don NOT use a kill switch system in our vehicles. Ms. [redacted] was also given a copy of her contract explaining her payment amounts, due dates and late fee's. We do not charge interest, but we DO charge late fees. Ms. [redacted] purchased her vehicle 3/20/17 and has yet to make one complete payment. I have personally attempted to reach out to Ms. [redacted] several times over the past few weeks to collect a payment with no response. (Please see attached agreement).Additionally, Ms [redacted] indicates she is requesting assistance with repairs on a power steering leak.As in the past, with Ms. [redacted] specifically, we do offer mechanical services for preferred customers. (Please see attachment). Ms. [redacted] has not reached out to us regarding her power steering issue.

I am rejecting this response because:I have attached my response because it was too long, also I have attached a photo of the item in question that I was told was not installed that was recently located, also attached contract showing no late fee's and contract portion showing could possibly be one but I was informed otherwise before signing any documents and handing over my 3500 dollars. I also have a screen shot showing the inconsistencies on when my payments are due, 5/13/2017 was supposed to be the first payment of 396.84 in which $200 was paid which left 196.84 to be paid then I received a text that another $396.84 was due on 5/28/2017 ( I also have a screenshot of  my account from the online payment center they use if needed) I am confused as to how I have two payments due in the same month when I am only supposed to be paying monthly. If anything the only amount that should have been late was $196.84.**Revdex.com NOTE: From customer's attached response:Because their response is inaccurate, I did in fact let associates with New Towns Auto know that there was an issue with my power steering the same time I let them know the transmission had failed less than 30 days of me even driving the vehicle. The car is only utilized for taking my children to school and errands, it is never put under any extreme pressure so I know those had to be preexisting, before the purchase of the vehicle and during the test drive I specifically asked if there are any major mechanical issues with the car (transmission, power steering, electrical problems I see as major safety concerns). My first contact regarding the power steering issue was when I went to pick up my license plates early April and I had informed Earl and Jeff who assisted in the sale of my vehicle (I even said something about the trippy electric), and was told the maintenance guy was not in yet and I was unable to wait around at the time because I had an important Dr. Appointment and my kids would be getting out of school soon. The second time was 04/15/17 when I informed them that the transmission had failed, which I received a call back the following Monday and was not able to bring the car in until 04/20/17 because I was subpoenaed to be a witness in court so I had to be available I also wanted to be able to bring an additional party with me. When I brought the truck in, the other party and myself explained exactly what was going on and what I wanted to see happen (with my 4yr old son we sat around the shop while they went around the issue and tried to send us home without even fixing the problem stating it would be fine to drive now) we got into the vehicle and The individual I brought with me wanted to drive and see if the issue was fixed so I let him, we called back 10 minutes later brought it back in and had to sit and wait around until almost closing time when they finally said they will take it to the trans shop. When I received the car back on 04/26/2017 I paid an amount of $250 which was told I had to pay to pick up my car because it was my first payment and I left. My next payment I was told I had to pay on 05/13/2017 (which was handwritten on my receipt by earl when I purchased the vehicle) but online it says it wouldn’t be due until 05/28/2017 in the amount of 396.84 which I was ok with because I did not foresee any issues with my income. When I lost my income, I did in fact attempt to find family members that could help me to no avail so at the time I paid up my rent and used the last $200 I had to make a payment on my account on 05/13/2017 and continued to try and find help, so I contacted new towns on 05/18/2017 that evening and spoke with someone who was very rude to me and left me on hold for a very long time then finally got back on the phone saying they will have someone call me back. I tried again about a week or two later actually leaving a voice message that time. Having to make monthly payments to them is really not my biggest issue it is the fact they have been dishonest and all employees no matter whom you speak to are inconsistent with their answers thru this whole process and they refused to disclose any mechanical issues with the vehicle when asked, I was led to believe that the car had no major just minor issues, and as of 06/07/17 my family and I were put in harm’s way because my car became inoperable in the street, I tried to have a neighbor jump start the car which did not help later that evening I had a friend come by to take a look so I could at least get it to my home and I was told there was a weird apparatus in my vehicle under the steering column lighting up, if they thought it was what they were thinking I should contact the dealer (gps tracker/kill switch is what I was informed it could be) Though it states in my contract there could possibly be one and I was told there wasn’t one when I came across the paragraph regarding them in my contract and asked both but it was late and we had let the car sit for a moment to walk back to my home to see if he could get someone to come help push it to safety. By the time we got back out to the vehicle Resolution I would like to see:I would like to see my payments lowered a bit and return my car back to operating status as soon as possible and provide me the time in getting my payments (though my fiancé will be coming back into town to help), it makes it harder for me to get around and find help without having my car, which is the reason I was in the market for one in the first place ( I do not have a lot of people at my disposal to help me move around or give me money nor do I have cab fare) explain to me what these Late fees are because my contract does not state I am having to pay any late fee’s. Explain to me why Sam told my fiancé Thomas Patterson [redacted] who has been out of town this morning 06/15/2017 that if a payment of $400 was made then the car would be turned back on if there is not a kill switch or gps tracker. Explain why I was not informed ahead of time my car would be disabled if a payment is missed and what is the standard amount of time a payment is missed that they actually disable the vehicle. Why if they tried contacting me where there no voice messages left but from a keisha this past Saturday and just received a notice 06/14/2017 not sure when it was sent but I check my mailbox frequently unless it was placed in the wrong box. I would also like the print out of every charge on my account along with the history of the vehicle which I asked for at the time of purchase but was not given.OrThey can have their truck back give me all my money back in the amount of 3950 + $100 (the amount my friend had to pay the tow truck to tow to my house because the car was in a tow away zone and it was disabled from the gps/kill switch they said was not there) so I can purchase my car elsewhere so I don’t have to deal with this company any longer because of the dishonesty and inconsistencies are too much for me to handle as a mother with four children under the age of 16 I have enough on my plate then to have to worry and I just don’t feel safe knowing that they can shut my car down no matter where I am or if I have my children in the car. My children and I could have been at a grocery store when this happened now I would have to deal with knowing I have a car full of kids a dog, groceries and no way home, not very settling. If someone asks a specific question it should be answered truthfully. I am not one to not pay my bills but life happens and I had no way of knowing it would happen before the payment was due.

Newtowns Auto purchased the 2009 Buick Enclave 03/08/17. We have an open contract with Valvoline, so when we purchase any vehicle it goes to Valvoline. may give off the impression that it is dirty but it is fresh oil. Ms. [redacted] purchased the 2009 Buick Enclave from us 7/19/2017. Upon completion of the test drive she stated that the front end was shaking. We serviced the vehicle and had new tires put on the vehicle and the shaking ceased and drove fine. She picked up the vehicle and took it home with no reported issues. At or around 7/31/17 Ms. [redacted] called admitted that she hit a pothole (the size and depth unknown) and the vehicle began rattling and a number of lights came on the dash. We were sensitive to her issue and told her to bring it in to be serviced. Upon receiving the vehicle the mechanic noticed there were scrapes on the side of  the vehicle that was not there before she had possession of the vehicle. Other damages had been accrued and due to her admission of hitting a pothole, it was determined that a substantial amount of damage had been done when she collided with something and hit a pothole. Nonetheless the mechanic repaired those damages including axles, ball joint, sway bar and links, free of charge. Ms. [redacted] picked up the vehicle and drove it home with no reported issues. The service was completed out of kindness on behalf of the company, we help all of our customers when we can. Later, at or around 8/4/17 Ms. [redacted] called and said the other side of the vehicle had been acting up and needed to be repaired. Now we are not sure if she hit another pothole or collided with an object but we told her to bring it in to be serviced. The mechanic repaired the 02 sensor, strut, trans mount. Again free of charge. This time I personally test drove the vehicle to make sure there was no rattling, noise, bumping of any kind and make sure the brakes were fully functional. The car drove smooth, quiet no issues. There was one light on the dash the tire pressure monitor. Ms. [redacted] came to pick up the vehicle. I told her there was a light on the dash and we can take it to the tire shop to be service, it wasn't a major issue but one of the sensors need to be changed in order for the light to go off. She said "I ain't got time for that" very rudely. We gave her the vehicle and she drove home with no more reported issues. The car was sold to Ms. [redacted] As Is no warranty. We offer extended service warranties to all our customers for these situations in particular, so you are covered in the event something goes wrong with the car. She did not get a warranty. We have done our due diligence and gone above and beyond to meet Ms. [redacted]'s needs. Attached are copies of all the receipts for the parts put in Ms. [redacted]'s vehicle. Also a copy of the Buyers Guide signed by Ms. [redacted] clearly stating this is an As Is purchase. New Town Autos [redacted] Ham Lake, MN 55304 ###-###-#### [email protected]
