Seasons Cycle Landscaping

We have been in conversation with this customer throughout this project and we were told everything was completed to his satisfaction once the job done. After that some weeds came up and we offered to spray additional weed killerHe immediately contacted the Revdex.com and started using insulting
language in regard to our work. He had approved our fix of the retaining wall and everything else prior to thatWe built one retaining wall, fixed a second retaining wall that he verbally approved, trimmed bushes, removed and disposed of bushes, removed weeds, tilled the soil and put down weed preventer and mulch as discussed in our original agreement for a fair priceWe have agreed to go back and treat weeds that have come back and put down weed prevention fabric in the area where it was not put down, put down additional weed preventer and replace two plants to rectify the situationWe are willing to work with the customer to make this right for them

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
My wife recently corresponded with your wife, ***, regarding work you performed on *** *** *** I have attached the quote and a couple photos, as a reference
To summarize some discrepancies with the attached quote:
hostas planted at $each, instead small Easter lilies (many of which have died) were planted
"crate murtals" at $each, one tree was planted.
Landscape fabric at $unit priceThis was admittedly not completed, per ***Preen was sprayed, which is not a long-term weed preventative. Also, you can see the weeds that I have since sprayed with weed killerThese weeds appeared within a week of your work
The square footage of mulch referenced (*assuming this is feet, unit is not specified) was at a unit price of $ This area could have easily been covered with bags of mulch available at *** *** for $at present (a little over $regular price) We were charged $122.50.
Two retaining wall blocks that you did not provideI found these after you stated you couldn't find matching blocks, yet we were still charged for the blocks and presumably the labor
*** requested that we sign a document outlining the work you were redoing and our agreement to not disparage your company on social media
We will never sign anything. With that being said, we do not plan on going out of our way to ruin your business, but I do hope you realize it is in your own best interest to do good and honest work on future engagements. I have better things to do with my time, then try to correct other people's mistakes and laziness. Breaking promises, cutting corners and then lying about it, is not the long term path to success
As far as I see it they have options.
Option 1: Refund the $as requested in the Revdex.com complaint.
Option 2: Redo the landscaping area located at the front of *** *** as it should have been done as initially agreed upon. Dig out all weeds, spray preen weed killer, apply fabric weed barrier, plant appropriate flowering bushes for the area and sunlight exposure, and then cover with mulch. Spray preen alongside of building foundation on alley. Trim bush on the left side of the sidewalk entrance and trim rear tree at ***. Lastly, provide $dollar refund for my time in fixing the corner or the *** retaining wall, hassle and inconvenience of this and past correspondence.
I strongly emphasized the weed removal and prevention of future weeds in that landscaping of ***. To repeat what I stated, “I live across the street and since there is no guarantee that the future residence of *** *** will keep up there landscaping, I wanted the best efforts possible to remove and prevent weeds to keep that landscaping as nice as possible since I will see it every time I look out my front door.” How this conversation was completely ignored is beyond my comprehension. We paid a lot money for things to be done properly. More than was even deserved for such a small space. I was patient with your continuous delays. Had you done the work properly, we would have done business with your company for years.
Do not send a counter to Option or 2. Pick either, but this is not a negotiation. The Revdex.com complaint will transfer to a resolved status upon completion of either option
