I have owned 5 golden retrievers since 1988. Three were backyard bred golden retrievers that were wonderful pets, but had devastating health issues. The last two golden retrievers have been purchased from two different breeders in N.C. because I hoped to get a pet that might have a better health history. My last one came from Seasons Gold. I desired a large dark red male and selected his parents based on generations of health clearances and color. Although I read reviews and was concerned about the number of dogs this breeder had on site at all times, I decided to visit the farm. I was nothing but pleased with the breeder and we've been extremely pleased with our male who is 11 months at this writing. He is smart, well socialized, and healthy to date. He did not turn out dark like his mother, but he stops the show with his looks and his personality wherever he goes. The breeder answered any and all questions and has encouraged me to stay in touch. I wanted to write a positive review because I had read so many negative ones. I didn't take my search lightly and I would recommend this breeder to anyone.
