On July 16thSeattle German Auto Center's Service Manager gave customer, Mr [redacted] , an estimate over the phone, stating he was not sure how muchthe repair would cost, probably around two hundred dollarsCustomerdropped off his carLater customer called to check on his car,Manager offered customer a loaner car to useWhen Service Managerfound out it would cost more to do the repair work, our ServiceManager felt terrible and immediately called the customer and toldthe customer it would cost $and would take longer to fix thecarAt that time Mr [redacted] said okay and to go ahead with therepair, it(the car) had to be fixedAt that time the customerstated he had read online that it would take approximately hours todo that job and the dealership had quoted $1400.00.Later that afternooncustomer was called and told the car was readyCustomer came topick up the car with Mrs [redacted] When Mr [redacted] was paying thebill for the repair, Mrs [redacted] commented that they wereoriginally told around $200.00, at that time our Service Managerexplained he had made a mistake and called Mr [redacted] and had gottenthe approval for the (approximately $500.00) additional cost of therepair from Mr [redacted] .Mr [redacted] paid andthey left with their Porsche.On July 17thSeattle German Auto Center was emailed by Google + and told about thebad review Mr [redacted] had given online with Google+Facebook alsonotified Seattle German Auto Center about a bad review Mr [redacted] posted online via Facebook.When the SeattleGerman Auto Center's Service Manager found out he called to try toresolve this with Mr [redacted] , because bad reviews and BetterBusiness Bureau complaints can kill a business.The Better BusinessBureau emailed Seattle German Auto Center about Mr [redacted] beingunhappy about paying for the repair work and that Mr [redacted] wantedSeattle German Auto Center to payTo resolve this andhave Mr [redacted] remove his bad reviews, Seattle German Auto Centersent Mr [redacted] a check and lost hundreds of dollars on the repairof Mr [redacted] 's Porsche.After Seattle GermanAuto Center's Service Manager spoke with Mr [redacted] and told Mr[redacted] a check would be mailedMr [redacted] changed the bad reviewon Google + from a one star complaint to a five star review thatstated he didn't get his car back until the next day, but he washappy with the repair workSeattle German AutoCenter finished the repair the same day it came in and Mr [redacted] picked it up the same day he dropped it off...which was July 16th,2015.Since then both theGoogle+ and Facebook reviews have been taken off the internet and theRevdex.com complaint was changed as well
