Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
Not true!
They did not cover my carpets, furniture until I had to tell them plus times!
MrP*** assured me he was licensed, bonded and insured and only did I find out not 100% true was after a week into the job another contractor researched MrP*** and informed me to ask for copies of such
The experienced people he so calls that he brought into my home were nothing but Craig's list men looking for work. Ask MrP*** to provide pay stub and employment iinformation, he will not be able to provide this as he paid them cash, they told me
Also, these men were not experienced as when my project is complete I will be able to provide receipts from licensed, bonded and insured contractors to repair the damages MrP*** caused in my home! So far I am over $3,and not finished
Sincerely,*** ***

My response as a professional service contractor, who's been in the industry for 25+ years, and never had a Revdex.com complaint is as follows:
I provided a written proposal/contract for a variety of work to be done for [redacted]. The client didn't...

request my license, bond, and insurance of which I have. She had agreed to projects such as painting, door installation, floor refinishing, vinyl floor install, etc; and signed a contract/agreement. Also she signed an additional contract for extra work at extra cost. I accept all forms of payment from my clients, it was her choice to pay cash upfront.
Client was okay to reschedule project start date to be March 31st. The first day I brought in a very experienced carpenter to install some doors, the client strongly voiced her own opinions against his. He didn't feel comfortable about doing his job and felt it would be best to leave the jobsite. I persuaded him to stay and the client was very pleased with his work and the results.
The client claims that we did not cover her furnishings, which was false. I had covered everything including her clothes in her closet. Almost everytime I was trying to proceed working she would interfere by constantly cleaning behind me. I would inform her that I would clean at the end of each day as the projects tend to get dirty.
Upon working on clients project, I felt things were going well as we had friendly conversations and at one time she and I had dinner together at her house. I brought in a painting contractor to paint her doors, he painted the doors and she was not happy with the outcome. I offered to resand and paint them myself and she was fine with that. I asked the contractor to leave and I would handle the door painting. I decided it would take too much time to sand, prep, and repaint so I offered client to replace the doors and she said don't spend the money. I offered a second time and she still refused the offer. Then at that point client informed me that it would be ok to roll paint the doors. I wanted to make sure she was pleased so I showed her the garage door the was formerly painted and she said that would be fine.
As I worked on the project I had to repeatedly make changes to appease her . I had particular parts of the projects scheduled in an orderly fashion and had to continually make changes to meet her expectations. The client and I agreed to refinish her floors on April 8th, she cancelled. The contractor, client, and I rescheduled for Friday April 15th. The floor refinish work was a part of the signed contract. To my surprise on my arrival to the job on April 11th, she cancelled once again on the flooring project and informed me not to paint the doors as she would handle it. I told her that she affected the contractor's schedule and she didn't care.
It came to the point that I almost didn't want to be there with her constant changes and cancelling work with was in the contract. It came to the point that I had to ask for a progress payment of $3200.00 for the work already only completed. Customer and I signed another binding contract and agreed still to have floors refinished and other work to be completed. On April 13th, I hired a contractor to install vinyl flooring to the bathroom and laundry area. I showed the contractor what to do and I returned to the job 3 hours later. To my surprise the client told me he is not working for you he is working for me now and he will be finishing the remainder of the project including vinyl flooring. I was dismayed over this event she now had broken our binding contract. I did not want to be a part of what was going on anymore and choose to leave the job which was difficult to do. I received via a text message from her stating "sorry for your loss, just move on". I choose to do so peacefully and gracefully. I feel that at every stage of this project I went above and beyond even the signed contract to appease the client. In the end she broke a binding signed contract and I only accepted payment for work that I had completed plus extra work above the contract.

Best Regards,
Greg P[redacted]
