Thank you for your correspondence regarding [redacted]’s recent compliant to your office regarding his...
concerns about his neighbors trash bins being placed in front of his house without his notification.
Our inspector moved 4 condo containers about 2 months ago. These 4 condos are neighbors of Mr. [redacted]’s on 8th, with their garages on Waverly. The condos front entrances are two flights up in the front of their house on 8th, with the garage in back. For many years they have stored their containers in the front on 8th on the curb because there are too many steps to move the containers, but this has blocked the sidewalk all the time. They called SPU to ask about moving location to their garage side so they could move them easily in and out of their garage on Waverly, and not block 8th Ave. sidewalk. We said yes as this allowed them to move them in and out of their garages. We have left 4 messages for Mr. [redacted] to explain the situation but we have not heard back from him.
