This is inresponse to the recent complaint from Ms [redacted] I am theRegional Director over the Seattle location in which Ms [redacted] purchased amembership I have reviewed all of theinformation regarding her account Ms [redacted] joined our service on in and signed a legally binding contract with us aswell as with [redacted] , a finance company We made several attempts to try to help Ms [redacted] with her membership and she did use our services by coming back into our officeto complete her New Member Orientation, which included a ProfessionalPhotography and Video Session We alsocompleted all of our screening on Ms [redacted] , including a National CriminalBackground Check Ms [redacted] hadactivity on her account and had made several selections of gentlemen that shewanted to meet She did not make herpayments and so was sent to Collections, which is our policy and something thatMs [redacted] was aware of because it is included in the contracts in which shesigned and agreed upon However, eventhough Ms [redacted] defaulted on her payments, since it was over years ago, wewill cancel her membership and take her out of collections this week, so thereshould be no further issues I spoke toMs [redacted] today and informed her of this decisionPlease feel free tocontact us with any further questionsSincerely, Wendy, Regional DirectorSeattle Singles

February 14th, 2017To whom it may concern:In response to complaint regarding member [redacted] ***Mr [redacted] came into Seattle Singles on February 2nd, to inquire about our servicesHe initially filled out a screening questionnaire which is standard for all clients to fill out only what they feel comfortable withHe explained that he was looking to hire a service that had mature, financially stable, educated women preferably not of his culture that wanted a serious relationshipHe had said that he needed help and advice due to being a recent divorceeI met with Mr [redacted] for about an hour and a half getting to know him and his wants and needsIt was discussed in great length what he was looking for in a future partnerWe also talked about the fact that he would need time to ease into a new relationship but he had said that being alone was not for him and he wanted a relationship sooner rather than laterHe also said that he wanted to utilize our concierge service which we included for him at no additional costHe was told all about what our service has to offer, that we have many members that fit his criteria and his needsAt the end of our meeting, Mr [redacted] looked at several profiles and chose women that he wanted to meetHe was extremely excited to join Seattle SinglesUpon agreeing to join, we ran Mr***’s credit card for our VIP membership and he was offered the free upgrade which included our concierge and online services at no additional costMr [redacted] signed a contract with us (Seattle Singles) that day on 2/2/and initialed each statement on the back of our contract TWICESeattle Singles’ contract clearly states which he read over and initialed twice and was READ ALOUD to him that: “It is understood and agreed upon that S/S does not grant, and you shall not request, refunds, cancellations or rescissions of any kind.” He then filled out his paperwork including our contract and addendum and scheduled his photo shoot and video dayMr***’s profile information was uploaded to our site the following business day on 2/3/after we had completed his background checkWe also turned on his online access, created his profile, emailed to confirm his photo shoot and established his VIP concierge serviceMr [redacted] called the office in the afternoon of 2/3/wanting to cancel his contract and receive a refundMy office manager explained to him that we do not fall under any hour cooling off period or under any day law and that he clearly signed a contract and initialed twice where it says “It is understood and agreed upon that S/S does not grant, and you shall not request, refunds, cancellations or rescissions of any kind.” and that he agreed to itWe are very sorry that Mr [redacted] may know someone that our services may or may not have worked for but we have helped thousands of people find what they are looking for and we are only here to help Mr [redacted] find the love he is looking forWe then received an email from Mr [redacted] on 2/3/at almost 11pm which stated that he had filed this complaint on here and also had advised his attorneyI tried to call and left a message for Mr [redacted] the following day to reiterate what my office manager had said and with hope that he would utilize the service he paid for and fulfill his goal of finding the love he wanted and deservedMr [redacted] then emailed again on 2/7/stating that he believes or is being told that our services fall under the 3-day right to cancel law which they do notIt is stated above that he didn't spend a lot of time reading the contract in which he initialed twice and then signed but it was in fact read ALOUD to him and agreed upon that we do not offer refunds for any reasonQuite simply, services have already been rendered and Mr [redacted] signed a legally binding contract with us and agreed that he fully understood that no refunds will be givenSeattle Singles has not violated our contract in any way and would love to continue to help Mr [redacted] should he decide to continue using our services.Sincerely, [redacted] Center Director, Seattle Singles

him We had never made contact with him until after this complaint was already submitted, so what he is saying is absolutely false We were unaware that he had changed his mind about requesting a call from us but once we spoke to him, we shredded his request with his contact info immediately Under no circumstances would we call anyone who requested us not to We have different marketers that call from different numbers which is standard in almost any marketing department, in no way was our staff trying to harrass Mr*** Seattle Singles has been in business for many decades and has an excellent reputation because of the outstanding service we provide for our members We do not contact anyone that has not requested information from us first We are sorry that Mr*** changed his mind about the service and we wish him the very best. We do not have record of Ms. [redacted] calling to say that she is moving out of state, so this is the first we have heard of this situation.  Our contracts do not say that memberships will be cancelled if someone relocates.  However, we are willing to work with Ms. [redacted] and just...

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: Per there statement that I was so active and 19 men view my profile. First off I rejected all but two went out with one guy twice the second date was a nightmare. The second person we never met he lives in Connecticut I received one voice message and one email from him, we never met or spoke in person or over the phone to each other. All the other men they mentioned they sent me a request but were not people I would date. Per the other member's I spoke too they all paid less. Seattle Singles obviously know what their doing because to smooth me over they were more then willing to extend and accommodate me to smooth things over.
I'd like to let other potential clients to know there tactics, its called gouging using the person to close the deal on there level of loneliness. I expected more from what they call themselves a higher level, more professional dating service. Just because they do back ground checks on all there potential clients does not mean they can jack the price up for a service. If they charge the same rate for all why have other people complained about what they charge, the fee's are between 1000.00 - 7500.00.  Buyer Beware "Seattle Singles" is no better than any other dating agency.
