Seaway Window

Our thanks to everyone! Mike Goodman came to measure very shortly after we called about a replacement for a 40 year old window.We ordered a new kitchen window on August 31 and the installers (led by Chris)came yesterday, September 30 and did a great job. They were even concerned about not causing any damage to a collection of plates on a decorative plate rack above the window, so we removed them before they got started.Last year we had four larger windows replaced by Seaway and were very pleased with their work ethic, attention to detail, and thorough clean up. We will continue to rely on Seaway for window replacement in the future. Great quality, workmanship, and professionalism!

Review: August 13, 2013 we ordered our new front window 10 ft by 8ft , on September 26, 2013 our new front window was delivered and installed. The 3 main windows were defective( streaks you cant rid of, scratches and defects in the glass). We called and they ordered 3 new windows. They came and installed 3 new windows a 2nd time. We are now on the 4th reorder of these windows. The last time I spoke to a manager after the 3rd time these windows were reordered he reassured me this wouldn't happen again. Yet I am still waiting on a new window that I spent close to $4,500 on and its still not done correctly.Desired Settlement: I want these windows put in with no defects and I want some sort of a refund!

On September 26, 2013 we installed 4 windows in the home of [redacted]. On September 27; [redacted] called and stated that the center glass panel of the 3-lite slider had a defect in the glass; we re-ordered the glass that day. On September 30; [redacted] called and stated that the same defect was visible in the 2 flanker pieces of glass; we re-ordered the glass that day.

We installed the re-ordered glass on November 6 and unfortunately noticed the same defect present on the glass again. Upon further investigation; we found out the tempering process was inadvertently placing streaks on the glass. We decided in agreement with the homeowner; to remake the glass as standard and forego the tempering process.

We installed the new re-ordered glass on December 13. On December 13; [redacted] called and stated that there was a small defect on the Low E coating near Spacer Edge of one of the flanker glass panels. We re-ordered the glass that day and will call the homeowner to schedule the installation when it arrives in our facility.

Our objective is to complete this project with no defects and will plan to offer a refund.

Review: On June 4th 2015. I ordered and paid in full. A window entry door and storm door. Seaway has installed the window and entry door. They also removed and hauled away my old storm door. I a little over a week it will be 5 months. An with the colder weather coming I well be with out a storm door I ordered in June.Desired Settlement: The storm door needs to be delivered and install soon.

Seaway Window installed both the Entry door and window on

August 17th on Mr. [redacted]’s residence at [redacted] We have

experienced supplier issues with our Storm Door components since July that have

unfortunately not been resolved. We have

contacted Mr. [redacted] since the date of the complaint letter (October 21, 2015)

and have successfully agreed to switch the storm door to another supplier with

a projected install date by mid-November.
