I purchased a *** *** vehicle from Angler Motor's on May 25, with a trade in ($1250) and cash down ($800) payment totaling ($2050) I was pulled over in Skokie, Il for improper registration, the vehicle was impounded, I had to pay a $fee to get the vehicle out of the impound My vehicle license plate was confiscated and I have been unable to drive the vehicle back to the city that I live in I have paid a total of $in car payments I learned by way of this situation that the vehicle was improperly registered and that the vehicle had a lien against it from Citizen Finance and the Car Dealer did not have the application submitted for a license plate/registration transfer until June 17, The Skokie, Il Police Department would not accept the bill of sale as adequate information to prove that the vehicle was purchased and that there was a registration transfer because of the information that was coming back from the State of Illinois
