Please don't get hoodwinked by this guy. His m.o. is to do one "decent" job for you, then get you to make a deposit on new windows or something, then he'll cash your check with no intention of ever doing the work. He'll pretend to schedule, then flake, then disappear, schedule, flake, drag it out until you give up on ever seeing your money or the job done.
Very difficult communication, way beyond the normal challenges of scheduling. Fails to show, doesn't even acknowledge weeks-long disappearances or refusals to respond to polite texts or request for update. Then acts very urgent and superior when it suits him.
He left a nice disabled neighbor of mine waiting for hours on 2 different occasions, never showed, never texted, and with no apology or explanation after. She's out her money, he never did the repairs, and won't respond to communications. Keeps his voicemail full, so you can't leave a massage. Probably better to have your text thread in writing with a time stamp anyway, in case you, like many others, have to go to court or great lengths to get your money back. It's not worth the risk!

2/28/2020: Sonoma County Sheriff's Office responded to Hampton Rd in Occidental for reports of a domestic disturbance that had been going on since the night before. Upon arrival, Neither Giro nor the female inside the house would respond to the PA system or phone calls. SWAT and negotiation teams were called to assist as well as a drone and k9. At approximately 1:30, the couple exited the home, and the investigation began.

Giro is a native of Santa Rosa, owns a local glass repair company, and has prior convictions in Sonoma County for driving with no license, DUI, and in 2017 was convicted of discharging a firearm within city limits.
In 2018 he was arrested for ; 135 - Destroying Evidence, 136.1(C)(1) - Dissuading A Witness By Force Or Threat, 245(A)(1) - Assault w/Deadly Weapon Or Assault w/Force Likely To Produce GBI, 273.5(D) - Inflict Corporal Injury on Spouse / Cohabitant / or Fiance' by Strangulation or Suffocation, and a restraining order was placed upon him in that case.

I used Chris Giro (aka, The Glass Man) to install Milgard windows, a shower glass and a mirror in my remodeled bathroom He did a remarkably fine job on all three We called him back to replace the glass on the upstairs French doors months later This time I watched him work and was very impressed with his knowledge, speed, skills and available tools for the job
He is our "glass man" from this day forward

I had a VERY troublesome sliding glass door in my kitchen leading out to the deck*** came and had the door off, fixed, and reinstalled in less than minutes! It glides like it's brand new! He also noticed some failed windows I had and took the measurements on the spotHis prices were affordable and my new windows look fantastic! Very pleasant and skilled about his products and servicesI would recommend him to all of my family and friends
