I am not sure how this complain was missed as our track record for responding should attest to the fact that we do attempt to respond to Revdex.com matters in quick fashion That said, we are requesting that this matter be reviewed and our Revdex.com rating adjusted to reflect this response and in particular the facts behind this matter The customer was aware of our policy regarding required notice for parking subscription cancellation from the beginning as shown in the attached Agreement In the end, the customer parked for two months while only paying for one month as we had already refunded the second charge on November 1, which is PRIOR to this Revdex.com complaint be filed Again, I'm not sure how we missed this back in 2016, (perhaps we assumed the customer was going to cancel his complaint given the fact that he had already received his requested refund?), regardless we are requesting that this information be considered and that this matter be reviewed so that our Revdex.com rating is not adversely affected by this instance If you would like any additional information or have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me directly via email or phone: [redacted] Thank you in advance for your consideration and assistance in resolving this in a more satisfactory manner

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: It is incorrect I received an additional recurring charge on Oct from starpark despite having cancelled months before I cancelled well within the window as previously shown in my reports and still received recurring charges I have seen no documentation from them supporting their claim while my complaints have all been substantiated I received resolution from my credit card company and have been made whole but not because of their actions Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The site does not have a sign posted that states that they do not issue refundsThe answering service answered as Star-Park, establishing responsibility for the statements made by their staffAditiionally, staff from the Star-Park office had provided a confirmation on my phone call that they would refund the cost after I emailed them a copy of the receiptsAgain, there is also no disclaimer on the receipt or on the property for refundsI have attached both of those photosThe Orange sign is what is posted at the entranceAs stated, I did file a dispute with my Credit Card company as I attempted all avenues with the companyTheir rude demeanor and inconsistency led me to be concerned with the ability to find an appropriate outcome without the formal channel of the credit card company Sincerely, [redacted] ***

It appears that the customer contacted our after-hours answering service The service representative informed the customer to contact us via email for a written record of the request That does not necessarily mean the request for a refund would be automatically accepted and processed, but rather that the answering service does not handle such matters generally we do not issue refunds for such matters as stated on-site Regardless, the customer informed us on 1/19/that he has already disputed the charge via his credit card so there is no longer a need for a refund

Attached please find pictures of the two signs posted at this facility, directly next to the pay station, posted on two different sides of the parking booth so as to be clearly visible to customers entering the facility from either of the two entrances.
As shown, the signs clearly state:
"PAY IN ADVANCE," along with the three instructions for how use the facility while unattended, the first of which is: "PURCHASE TICKET UPON PARKING."

Our rate signs clearly state, directly below our "standard rates," that our rates are subject to change and check the machine for the current rate
The machine clearly showed the current "event" rate, which the user must confirm, PRIOR to inserting
any payment
The user therefore as the option not to continue with the transaction and find alternative parking at no charge The user instead decided to voluntarily proceed with the transaction by selecting the $option, followed by inserting payment
In addition, there was no signage on the streets showing a different rate The only place any rate information was posted was on the sign next to the machine (see item #1), which clearly tells customers to check the machine, which as shown and described in item #2, clearly posted the event parking rate
This is not a misleading or deceitful tactic, but rather a commonly known practice called "peak demand pricing."
We have been in contact with the customer directly and they were unsatisfied by the response given; however, as clearly described above, the customer voluntarily used our parking facility and therefore is responsible for paying the current parking rates No refund will be issued
