Hello, I had a very, very, very negative experience with Miguels Auto Repair located Tod Ave, East Chicago, In 46312- My ex-husband brought in a Ford Focus on Saturday, November 26, 2016, I called them, November 28, to say I would be getting a transmission for the car on December 1, So everyday I called to inform them that I would be getting the transmission but it would not be delivered until December 3, 2016, a worker named Chris was very mean, saying he was going to charge storage and my car was sitting on the street, on Tod Ave He also told me that I better have $but then when I came in they charged me $and Miguels, Arriaga was very mean, he did not want to give me my car until the police was called and he called the police I showed him my ID and I had my money in my hand I believe Arriaga do NOT know how to do business, professionally You do not brow-beat your customer with angry wordsI told Chris that he could put my car back together and I would pay him for his labor I kept informing them that the Shop that was to deliver the transmission said they could only deliver it when one of their workers could and then they would have to disbatch it out I must say though that one of the Officer's said that Miguel Arriaga gave the Black race problems frequently and that they stop going to their auto shop That was the first time I have ever had a big problem with any auto shop, he was mean, angry he need a course in business relations He is very unreasonable and assume, does not give persons the benefit of the doubt He need to be scrutinized, watched because if he keeps this up, the way he treated me, he does not need a business in the United States of America MsBrooks-a customer's complaint
