Clothing taken to business to be sold on consignment, but now seems to be 'lost.'On December 28, 2014 I took over 100 items of top quality clothing to the Second Fling, to be sold on consignment. No receipt was offered (or inventory paperwork). It was stated I would receive paperwork if any items were "unsuitable" for their store. I am a teacher, & many of my items were dry cleaned & pressed. I had called numerous times & told that received items were not processed. Then on April 3/6, I was told I had been mailed a copy by "[redacted]" the receiving supervisor (which I never received), but they would send me another copy. I never received that. When I went to the store, and spoke to "[redacted]" the store "supervisor" I was told they were "following leads" to try to explain where all my items were." I was told to go out on the floor & look for my clothes! How would I find a pair of khaki pants, or black pants that I could HONESTLY say these are MINE? I feel my clothes were given credit to someone else either by mistake or purposely! With all the items I had taken and now they are saying "they were not suitable for sale in their store," but yet cannot show any documentation. When I returned to the store on April 27th, another list was presented to me with another 9 items, that they had "found." But no answer has been provided with the many, many more items I took in! My car was jam full of quality clothing that they have virtually stolen! All the woman keeps telling me is "have you looked in the store for your clothes?" I did look. But how can I find my clothes after all this time? How would I recognize something so non-descript? And how can I prove something is "mine" if I said it was anyways!! I believe that this is a scam. I have no idea of the value of my clothing that they have taken, but I will SADly value it at $500.Desired SettlementThere were thousands of dollars of quality clothing and I will be turning this over to my attorney, if there is not some kind of retribution. [redacted]. I am NOT the kind of person who sues people, but I believe this business has scammed me! $500 Business Response Business supplied email: [redacted]Use this address for any contact with the Revdex.com
