Hello,We sincerely apologize to Mr*** for any inconvenienceWe attempted to contact Mr*** via telephone last week on two separate occasions and left a voicemail, the purpose of this call was to talk through the situation and rectify the issue as Mr*** requested.We would like to
make it known that this transaction took place through a third party platform, ebay specifically, and the electronic area had nothing to do with our systemIt should also be known that ebay very specifically does not allow for the canceling of an ebay transaction completed through ebay only to complete the transaction via different form of payment outside of ebay, and that is exactly what was being requested by Mr***Our Customer Service Rep was aware of this ebay policy and this is why Mr*** request was initially declined, as it would be a violation of ebay policyThat being said, our Custer Service Rep could have done a much better job of communicating this to Mr*** and attempted to find a solution without violating ebay policies. In addition to an ebay policy violation, completing the transaction as Mr*** has requested would also result in the loss of our ebay Final Value Fees. We acknowledge that we could have handled this situation better and that we could have communicated with Mr*** much more effectivelyWe want to make this situation right for Mr*** and we are willing to do what we can to make this right, however our business cannot afford to violate ebay policy and lose our ability to sell via ebay, especially when the payment error was through ebay and outside of our control.Mr*** - Please contact us at ###-###-#### and we would be happy to talk this through and come to a mutually agreeable resolution. we manage the 2 processes separately and in two different systems. Mr [redacted] did update his address in one system but it was never updated in the other. We should have caught that prior to sending the check.
