I am rejecting this response because: When I dropped him off, the cat coordinator assured me up and down that you would let us know what was found out after bringing him to the vet and that we could check in at any timeMy adult cat at home got very sick and I have gotten no information from you on what was found from your vet when you TOLD me you wouldThe fact that you just say things to people but don't follow through is a huge problem with your customer service Apparently you don't care about the health of adult animals who already have homes? If you don't have anything to hide, I would assume there wouldn't be a problem with releasing the informationHe had been sick for a while before we adopted him and all I had asked was what was found outI want a FULL refund of $which will equal out to the adoption fee I paid of $ $is nothing when the fact of the matter is that I paid well over $and you are lucky that is not what I am pursuingI have all the records of what I paid between the $adoption (which you are reselling him again for) and $in vet bills between his blood work, medicine and my adult cat's vet care

This individual returned a kitten due to her vet saying the kitten was sick Our vet has examined the kitten the day he was returned as well as at a follow up visit and the kitten was deemed in good heath and available for adoption The kitten was held from being adoptable until he as cleared by our vetShe returned the kitten and WAS REFUNDED $per our adoption contract (attached) The individual is not entitled to any more money per the contract which states: I understand and agree that Secondhand Hounds makes no guarantee about the animal’s temperament, age or breed and is not responsible for future damages or injuries caused by the animalIf any medical problems should occur after adoption, Secondhand Hounds is not liable for any medical bills, unless a health problem that was present before adoption is discovered by a veterinarian within days of adoptionSecondhand Hounds will only be liable for treatment up to $per cat if a medical problem is foundAny further questions regarding the vet records for the kitten are no longer the property of the complainant as she gave up ownership of the animal

When I dropped him off, the cat coordinator assured me up and down that you would let us know what was found out after bringing him to the vet and that we could check in at any time. My adult cat at home got very sick and I have gotten no information from you on what was found from your vet when you TOLD me you would. The fact that you just say things to people but don't follow through is a huge problem with your customer service.  Apparently you don't care about the health of adult animals who already have homes? If you don't have anything to hide, I would assume there wouldn't be a problem with releasing the information. He had been sick for a while before we adopted him and all I had asked was what was found out. I want a FULL refund of $150 which will equal out to the adoption fee I paid of $200.  $50 is nothing when the fact of the matter is that I paid well over $900 and you are lucky that is not what I am pursuing. I have all the records of what I paid between the $200 adoption (which you are reselling him again for) and $700 in vet bills between his blood work, medicine and my adult cat's vet care.

We have discussed the adopters concern with them and taken the dog back into our program.  The adopters had the dog in their home for a short period of time and we have not observed the same behaviors they experienced while the dog has been in our care.  We have refunded all but $100 of...

the adoption fee, although the contract states that there are no refunds when the adoption is finalized.

cleared by our vet. She returned the kitten and WAS REFUNDED  $50 per our adoption contract (attached).  The individual is not entitled to any more money per the contract which states: 6. I understand and agree that Secondhand Hounds makes no guarantee about the animal’s temperament, age or breed and is not responsible for future damages or injuries caused by the animal. If any medical problems should occur after adoption, Secondhand Hounds is not liable for any medical bills, unless a health problem that was present before adoption is discovered by a veterinarian within 5 days of adoption. Secondhand Hounds will only be liable for treatment up to $50 per cat if a medical problem is found. Any further questions regarding the vet records for the kitten are no longer the property of the complainant as she gave up ownership of the animal.
