Review: My car would start and I assumed the battery may have been dead because they battery was only 1 and 1/2 old and it had been cold out the night before. I was visiting family in New London and found Secor in the phone book. They said I needed a battery, ignition wire and spark plugs. The parts totaled $188.44 dollars which is fine. I trust that I did need this things to start the car, However, they charged me $390 for labor when the sign says $99 an hour, I asked other mechanics and I was told this should have only taken roughly an hour. Even if they charged me for two hours I am not sure how they got to that figure. Also as a recommendation the bill said valve cover gasket, spark plug seal $390.60..PCV value and hose $85..I asked other shops about this and they said that was am excessive charge as wekkDesired Settlement: an explaination of the high labor cost of $390 to install a battery, spark plugs and a wire
