In response to Mr [redacted] complaintI want to apologize to Mr [redacted] personallyOur merchant has started to charge a larger fee which in turn we have to charge a processing fee for each transaction However if a consumer has already set up arrangements and has been making payments we are not to charge that fee to themThe fee is only for new accounts that have not set up arrangements and are notified of the fee that will occur at the time of setting up arrangementsThis is done verbally as well as in writingMr [redacted] should not have been charged this processing feeI have documented this account that this fee does not apply to Mr [redacted] I have held a short meeting for all my representatives to make them aware that only new consumers making arrangements are to be made aware of the processing fees and added to the accountI have made them aware that any consumer with payments on file already are NOT to be charged a feeAgain I personally apologize for this mishap and I will assure you it will not happen againI have added in the meeting with my representatives that any mishap such as this one should be directed to the Director of Operations immediately

original debtor so we cannot verify her claims that she was never previously contacted by them regarding this matter nor provide a reason that she was not, if that was in fact what happenedThat would be something that she could take up with Crest Financial Services directly if she so wishedWith regards to the specific complaint that it was illegal to contact her at her place of business regarding this matter, we believe that Ms*** is confusedAs per FDCP regulations, we were perfectly within our rights to contact her at her workplace, as this was the initial contact and upon being asked not to contact her there, we complied and notated her account accordingly. This file has now been referred to our manager and he will be handling any further contact regarding her outstanding debt with ourselves
