Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: His response is unacceptable in the matterI have attached a copy of the work order showing I clearly agreed to a SEER system and not a system up to SEERAlso, is attached the permit showing why the city failed his unprofessional installationI have attached the Code stating a contractor with a suspended license is not to perform any workDoesn't matter if you resolved the issue now because I am still stuck with a heat pump system you installed improperly and violates city ordinanceWhich still leaks water and I can't use the system Sincerely, [redacted] ***

We have attempted to do all that we could to make Mr*** happy, but unfortunately he will not be happy no matter whatHe does not want to pay for a job that he agreed to and signed offIn all his complaints he has had misleading accusations on multiple occasions which we have evidenceWe wish the best to Mr***

I am willing to help repair unit and have been by multiple times only to have another issue partly because of *** poorly designed duct work which he is not willing to change

The equipment I installed is between 14 and 15 SEER, he wanted me to use his existing furnace which makes the efficiency less. At the current time I did the job, my license was suspended due to a paperwork error. Only my electrical license was suspended. The license issue has been resolved. The job...

was permitted, inspected and completed.

I am rejecting this response because: His response is unacceptable in the matter. I have attached a copy of the work order showing I clearly agreed to a 15 SEER system and not a system up to 15 SEER. Also, is attached the permit showing why the city failed his unprofessional installation. I have attached the Code stating a contractor with a suspended license is not to perform any work. Doesn't matter if you resolved the issue now because I am still stuck with a heat pump system you installed improperly and violates city ordinance. Which still leaks water and I can't use the system.
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because: Let me put this in simple terms so you can understand. You did not install the unit properly. I am still having many issues with the unit you installed. I had three different professional HVAC contractors look at it and they all told me the same thing, " I have never seen anything this bad in my 20 plus years ". It is so bad they can't fix your so called "professional" installation. Just to enlighten you the heat pump coil you installed is directly where the flex hoses are. The flex hoses are supposed to come after the coil not on top of the coil. The housing around the coil where you jeopardized the integrity is falling apart. So there is hardly any air flow to the vents. Its all being blown into the attic. All three contractors told me to not turn on the unit because it may cause more damage. That is how bad your installation is. The city failed mechanical inspection. You can't even pull an electrical permit because at the time your licenses was suspended. You won't agree to sit down with a mediator to resolve this issue. You are childish in your behavior because you hang up on everyone that calls you regarding this issue. You have done nothing to try and resolve this issue except claim you did nothing wrong and state that I am over reacting. You did not offer to try and remedy this issue. In fact, I don't want you to because you are obviously incompetent. The only way you can fix this is by paying another contractor of my choosing to either fix or replace what you have destroyed. I would be more than happy to pay for a job when it is done correctly and what we agreed on. Obviously, I didn't get either. The funny thing is on the back of your contract you guarantee your work for one year. You didn't even make it past three days.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

We notified homeowner if he would like any thing done differently we would return and do to his satisfaction though he is not willing to have this done

Hello

waiting from the Revdex.com. It turned out to be a reply from Secure Comfort, the company with which I have a dispute. I tried to reply to the message received a system error. The rep at the Revdex.com said you were handling my case and I should email the comments to you. Here are the comments that I’d like posted as my reply to Secure Comfort.  Secure Comfort’s claim that Robert, the company president and the tech who came out to work on my home, had contacted us afterwards and offered to come back and finish the job is not true. He NEVER called me after he left my property. He told me before he left that he had an “iron-clad” contract and he would get paid if he finished the job or not. He laughed as he said this. I told him I wanted him to finish the deck work his worker started because the deck was left unsafe. I also told him that I would pay him for some of the work that was done ($610 of the contract -- $300 for the wood work and $310 for the completed vent cleaning) but I would not pay for the leak repair that he did not do it correctly (when he left the sink was leaking as badly as when he arrived) and that did I want him to start to AC tune up because I no longer trusted him.   He lied to me about a leak on my property. He broke into an electric company vault in the lawn and said that the flooded vault was evidence of a serious problem. An electric company repairman came out to fix it and Robert yelled at him. A PUD supervisor came out and said all of the underground vaults flood during the rainy season and that it was normal and not a risk as Robert has stated. It took a four-man crew to replace the vault Robert broke. I do not know if I will be required to pay for the repair on my property for the vault that Robert broke but I told Robert that his unauthorized breaking into the vault was a violation of our agreement.  Robert lied to me about being able to fix the leak in the bathroom. He also lied when he said his assistant would finish the deck work. When Robert left, he told his worker to leave as well. I had to finish the job myself.  I do not trust him to complete the job because he lied to me and did substandard work. He also lied to Revdex.com when he said he contacted me and told me he would come back and finish the job. His business practices are unprofessional and I only agree to pay for the two projects stated above – not for work either not done at all or done after illegally breaking into the PUD vault. Attachments: Two photos of the deck work that I had to fix because of the substandard work by Secure Comfort.  [redacted] Stay the patient course.
