[redacted] The door-to-door salesmen use tactics like saying they are working hand in hand with the Peel Region to make sure Air Conditioners and Furnaces have the correct "copper wiring" or the Freon from the air conditioner will leak in the house we the house will blow up and we will all die either from the gas or fire They use language that is very convincing and they make the [redacted] feel like they are doing them a big favour to keep them safe by using Peel Region concerns for it residence When they show at the door they come just around 7:pm to make their sales pitchAt this time the residence who they are conning too cannot call Peel Region to verify any information, therefore these sales men have total control as they are well trained to convince the [redacted] that their life depends on them changing their working air conditioner to a safer unit that they will provide and they ensure that under the warranty you have on you furnace will allow you to be qualify for a new air conditioner without any payment under the Peel Region safety program They are well trained in the ensuring [redacted] s do not get a copy of their agreement and they wait for over days before they send their billing via a third billing party who then sends the billing to Enbridge for payment by not proceeding a billing cycle before the days they know that [redacted] s will have no other option but to beholden to pay for the unit as the timing for cancelling would have pass the days grace periodThis company is just a [redacted] while ensuring their company name is no where in the billing payment [redacted] by adding on information never discussed with the [redacted] like monthly payments or putting a lien on your property and using your initials to verify you have read their agreement and you are aware of all their requirements to care for their property (air conditioner)[redacted]

Rovan came to my house in Calgary and started a contract in june about installing a furnace with my wife without my consentI was later on made aware of it with terms which he wrote and signed on the cheque I provided but took away e.g 20months contract, $89/month, payments start october 2015, no other charges included and convinced me that he had call the city of Calgary on my behalf, utilities company and they will fuel the restUpon installation the next day, I called the head office to verify the accuracy of the information and was told that the information provided to me by the agent is trueshe then sent details of the contract by email which was totally different from what Rovan told mei stopped work and asked them to waitRovan called me and said that what is sent to my email is not my contractafter one month, bills started coming, the contract was made effective, I called Rovan and he will never pick, call with a different phone, he picks and then drops, I cancelled my bank account, they start writing me lettersfinally, they want me to pay $within months and buy outthis is really putting plenty of financial stress on me and familymy old furnace never had any problems and would have been replaced when I would have been financially stable

We had a salesman named Joshua from Secure Home Services come to the door last September selling furnaces and air conditionersThe deal was $dollars a month for months or $for monthsIf you decided to go with the year plan they'd give you a free air conditionerThey asked how old the home was and checked the furnace age to see if we qualified, which we did as the furnace was the original furnace when the home was builtThe cost came out to about $4,which sounded almost to good but we figured they must be applying for a government grantSome of our neighbors got the same deal by the same salesmanI signed a yellow form that indicated what they were installing and where but did not have any other informationThe fine print referred to sections in the agreement which I asked the salesman about and he said the agreement would be coming in the mail in a week or but I have yet to see an agreementWe have been paying for the last months and wouldn't have known of any issues except that one of our neighbors called to book a service call which is when they were told that they were renting for months or yrsWhen I heard that I called and sure enough they told me the same thingI told the customer service agent what I was sold by the salesman and to clarify what I was being sold I had the salesman write out 'payments of $165.for months will be paid in full with no residualhe printed and signed his name'They asked me to fax the paper with the written statement and let us know what they decidedThey called back and said it didn't look legal and we could pay them $10,now as a payoutI told them they will be hearing from my lawyer

On feb 20, 2015 . My furnace broke down and I was left with no heat. A friend of mine, told me to call Secure Home Services. They came to my house within 2 hours and had the furnace up and running right away! They also gave me a free thermostat. There technician treated me like family. I am very happy with the service I got.

Thank you, Secure Home Services!

We needed a new water tank. We called Secure Home Services and had one installed the very next day. The installer was fast and professional. He tidied up and left no mess. He even returned our rental tank back to Reliance for us. Great service at a great price. Mark and Laura C

Since I've had my water filter installed I have contacted Secure Home Services numerous times using the phone number provided and instead of getting Secure Home Services I get a place called Sports service. This tank is now leaking and we've only had it installed July 5, 2016. Since I have very little info on this company, and only the phone number provided I have to way of contacting them now. The water tanks belong to them and I don't feel I should touch them or try to repair them in fear I will be charged if anything goes wrong. If this progresses the problem will only get worse and I have no one I can contact.

I found Secure Home Services online, and used them for a new furnace install at my mother's home in Kitchener. My mother is elderly, yet dead set in NOT moving out of her home, therefor I'm typically handed the duty of scheduling services like this. Have to say, that the quote we received was reasonable and they installed her furnace in a timely manner. I'd say the company is customed focused and easy to work with both on the phone and in person. Thanks.

My experience with secure home services was a bit weary at first. Not sure what to think of door to door salesmen. However it was a very pleasant experience. A man by the name of James came to my door and made me aware of issues with my furnaces efficiency. He introduced me to a program where I had one low monthly payment, so I can pay for the furnace over time, as opposed to all at once. As soon as it was installed I noticed a HUGE difference on my utility bills and am very happy they came.

[redacted] The door-to-door salesmen use false tactics like saying they are working hand in hand with the Peel Region to make sure Air Conditioners and Furnaces have the correct "copper wiring" or the Freon from the air conditioner will leak in the house we the house will blow up and we will all die either from the gas or fire. They use language that is very convincing and they make the [redacted] feel like they are doing them a big favour to keep them safe by using Peel Region concerns for it residence. When they show at the door they come just around 7:00 pm to make their sales pitch. At this time the residence who they are conning too cannot call Peel Region to verify any information, therefore these sales men have total control as they are well trained to convince the [redacted] that their life depends on them changing their working air conditioner to a safer unit that they will provide and they ensure that under the warranty you have on you furnace will allow you to be qualify for a new air conditioner without any payment under the Peel Region safety program . They are well trained in the ensuring [redacted]s do not get a copy of their agreement and they wait for over 30 days before they send their billing via a third billing party who then sends the billing to Enbridge for payment by not proceeding a billing cycle before the 30 days they know that [redacted]s will have no other option but to beholden to pay for the unit as the timing for cancelling would have pass the 30 days grace period. This company is just a [redacted] while ensuring their company name is no where in the billing payment. [redacted] by adding on information never discussed with the [redacted] like monthly payments or putting a lien on your property and using your initials to verify you have read their agreement and you are aware of all their requirements to care for their property (air conditioner).[redacted]
